OP, i think you should have a discussion with my mum, she is a mad Julia and Carbon tax supporter.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16855915

With all due respect, and thank you for your invitation...

Two things.

One, your mum has every right to make her choices freely as do we all, and second, there are two matters that I avoid verbal discussion over.

One is religion and the other is politics.

This is not so much about politics as much as it is about honesty, integrity, reliability and leadership that sets and reinforces those moral values.

Also, its about justice and fair play in what is supposed to be a democratic nation.

Sorry if that sounded a bit like a lecture, but it is important to keep your eyes on the ball.

For those Australians who are against the rediculous carbon tax that we were promised would never be introduced by our Prime Minister, and is leaving ordinary Australians struggling to pay their bills.

And pensioners, eating just toast or pies and sitting in the dark or lying in bed all day, as the only way to stay warm.

been listening to the americans and fear loving conspiracy tards to much?

Actually, not quite right there, in the event of a UN declared pandemic for instance, we go under their direct martial order control.

I call that giving up your national soverenty, wouldnt you?

Security Council membership is a completely different matter to which you are correct, but dont be missled, this nation is very much under UN influence.

You cant stop a globalist UN agenda.

The bluebloods at the top want this, ergo they will get it.

The politicians here are just little foot soldiers, they are expendable.

It doesnt make one iota of difference which puppets face is on QandA or whatever the hell else the masses watch still on the tell lie vision.

Does anyone know which countries ARENT owned by the globalists?

Heres a clue, any country being invaded by Lockheed fighter jets, drones and ground forces, isnt one of them.

I dont see any Lockheeds here. ergo we are already owned.

And no one will do anything about it cool2

God save the Queen and her cousins the Rothschilds and their goldman sachs and all that shit. Once these people decide to charge you for carbon dioxide (air) they cant be stopped. They have the weapons and the military, we had Martin Bryant, so now all we have is our hand on our dick as we let them fuck us up the ass. cool2

"Oooh ooh deeper, harder, I love being fucked with a Goldman Sachs dildo maaaate!"

Skiptard,

mate, I think that with the exception of your use of our grammar, you are pretty well right on the money.

Therefore, I trust that you too are also encouraging your contacts to at least make what effort that they can.

We all know deep down that if enough of us want something enough, then we will find a way to achieve it.

Otherwise why do we even bother getting out of bed?

And the Iceland example mentioned above, is the perfect model that would work even here.

Yes I am aware of the situation in Iceland, have been for a while.

Though you need critical mass to achieve that, both the public and the politicians have to be willing.

We know our politicians are all Representatives of The Crown.

Read that again.

They represent The Crown, its their official job title.

Which leaves the public having to do something to force action.

We know most people are against carbon dioxide taxes here tbh.

We know the politicians carry out the agendas regardless, serving only themselves and their bank accounts and lifestyles.

And yes I have told many people, both in life and in various online personas.

I just dont think websites are going to cut it this time friend. cool2

Sure, its a start. But there are many a website.

There needs to be an act of rebellion on this, somehow.

Like a 'No' movement. Pick something and say 'No' to it, in rejection of this globalist blueblood UN imposed tax.

What, i dont know, perhaps vehicle registrations. If everybody refused to give their $600 - $1000 per year to the government in protest, can they put us ALL in the courts or in jail.

No.

But try sell that to the herd. cool2

Not trying to be pessimistic, just realistic.

You really want to do something, cook up an act of rebellion that will catch on. Perhaps like what I mentioned above or similar. cool2

Carbon tax is the biggest load of horseshit ever. It's simply a tax levied on the western world by the fucked up progressive/ liberal aholes in the UN. Australia has been sold a crock of shit by a weak prime minister and party that would sell their souls for a whiff of power. A carbon tax is socialism dressed up as a good cause. Fuck look at all the cheques been handed out to those who will suffer, why go there in the first place. My best wishes go to the Aussies who fight this attack on their freedoms. Our politicians are ball less wonders and claim our country also must suffer a carbon tax although our global carbon output is .01% of the worlds total. Hi Skiptard,

welcome back and it really is good to see you really thinking and having input, that is where it all begins, of that Im sure.

As to your comments, I admit that there are good and valid points in your assertions.

So, maybe we in our own ways are both correct but only to a certain level.

That I can accept.

Just to deal with your comment...

What, i dont know, perhaps vehicle registrations. If everybody refused to give their $600 - $1000 per year to the government in protest, can they put us ALL in the courts or in jail.

No.

That was the mantra of the Vietman objectors, at the time called "conscious objectors" when Australia conscripted their cannon fodder for the Vietnam war.

Yes, I am that old, and again that was and probably remains a valid potential direction.

But let me throw this into the fray for some to ponder on.

All the recent changes in Egypt, Syria, etc. were bought about (violently, which I cannot support) but they were spontaneously precipitated via texts, mobile phones and any manner of instant communication, emails etc.

So, in order to be more moderative with organized actions and also to stay in favor of the masses etc, why not attempt to come up with some sort of programme that is legal and draws attention to make your point.

Like the Icelandic example, but with your own twist to it, if necessary.

Appeal to the police who will be present, remember that they have families too, so they are affected also, tell them what you are doing and why, and when it will end.

Demonstrate peacefully and the police will act appropriately too.

Any form of peaceful and legal demonstration that draws attention to the cause, but always, always, be polite have a single speaker to attend to enquiries and instructions, and you will win the hearts of the media, the law enforcement, and ultimately your point will have to be addressed.

We elected those politicians to run this country for us, they are supposed to be the caretakers of our nation and its peoples, I dont see that being executed appropriately, who does?

Whatever you do, do it peacefully.

Have a code, that everyone understands, media included, like a raised arm if anyone is overtly misshandled by those that would attempt to bring violence into your movement to disscredit it...just think and plan carefully, really its not rocket science.

Anyway, just some food for thought.

Dont be black or white, try to find that delicate balance of grey, it will work for you every time.

cheers

Lets also take this opportunity to put this "carbon Dioxide" thing into complete perspective.

Now some of my figures can be challenged for accuracy as I dont posses the qualifications to make this example scientifically accurate, but I dont need to.

The estimated quantities and volumes simply speak for themselves.

So, here goes, as Australians reading this for the most part lets select your average decent sized Gum tree.

Lets say that it weighs around ten tonnes.

Of that ten tonnes around 60% of it is water, so if we remove the water we are left with about 4 tonnes of material.

So, now lets remove all the minerals etc that this tree extracted out of the ground in order to grow.

That would maybe amount to about a few hundred kilograms at best, but for the argument lets say half a ton.

So whats left?

It weighs around 3 and a half tonnes, doesent it?

Well here we go, its carbon, thats right good old basic element carbon, and essential to just about all life on this planet.

Now, lets step back a little and lets let nature do its job, the tree lives, then it dies.

What happens?

It slowly rots and breaks down into those minerals, gives up its water content and...the carbon oxidizes, ie it rots.

It combines with oxygen out of the air and forms...carbon dioxide.

One carbon atom combined with two atoms of oxygen.

What happens next is that the tree next door takes in some water, some minerals from the soil and then it absorbs CARBON DIOXIDE in a process called photosynthesis by using the sun, and it keeps the carbon to become a growing tree and the oxygen it gives to us to breathe and live.

Thats during the day time, during the night that tree will ever so slightly reverse that process, but its so minor as to be almost negligible.

Ok after that biology lesson, one simple question.

Why are we being taxed for a perfectly natural process that is absolutely essential for all life on earth to exist.

And before I hear any greenies having a go at me over this, please consider the fact that this planet has had much warmer periods than we currently have and life flourished, so much so that the Romans grew grapes in Scotland, and the Vikings farmed Greenland, before the ice drove them away.

Those are scientificaly proven facts, ask any archeolegist.

The UN and Adgenda 21 is receiving ever more general awareness these days.

When I first heard of it I was taken as a bit of a conspiracy theorist in spite of the fact that I had read most of it.

You are perfectly correct with your assertions, and just to add a sweetner, there is a new thread right here on that very topic.

Here is an extract from the first post.

Alabama Adopts First Official State Ban on UN Agenda 21

Written by Alex Newman

Alabama became the first state to adopt a tough law protecting private property and due process by prohibiting any government involvement with or participation in a controversial United Nations scheme known as Agenda 21. Activists from across the political spectrum celebrated the measure’s approval as a significant victory against the UN “sustainability” plot, expressing hope that similar sovereignty-preserving measures would be adopted in other states as the nationwide battle heats up.

Thread: Alabama Adopts First Official State Ban on UN Agenda 21

So by the looks of this information, hopefully this will be the beginning of the end, and if we are smart enough the UN itself needs to be dissmantled, as was the "League of Nations" that got out of hand just after one of the world wars, not certain which one, but they got the chop.

And essentially the UN has become their replacement, just under a different name.

But the adgendas are pretty much the same, its just that they learned to be much slower with introducing new changes, first talk heaps about it, wait till nobody can be bothered to act and then quietly sneak in the changes.

Does that tactic sound familiar.

Have a think about Australias failed attempt to become a republic.

That idea comes back every now and then, even though we had a referendum on it.

But that wont matter, it'll just keep surfacing until people wont care and are bored with hearing about it over and over again, then watch what will happen.

Just like the carbon tax she promised she would NEVER bring in, well we will get to become a republic one day and it wont be by democratic processes either.

Has anyone heard that technically Queensland is no longer legally a State of Australia.

Unconstitutionally that happened a few years ago, but also technically the British Privy Council also no longer sees itself as our connection to the monarchy and our constitution has been so bastedized that it would take the High Court a Century to get our constitution back into a consistant continum of administration, which just wont happen.

Peter Beaty created what was known as the Brigalow corporation which became the owner of the state, now Brigalow has been dissmantled.

Technically every person and all their property are now chattells of the state of the Quensland government, even their laws prevent anyone from being able to prosecute any government department or employee.

Their govenor is no longer the Queens representative of the state of Queensland, that govenor is now an employee of Queensland's government.

Kevin Rudd even referred to Queensland in one of his addresses as the republic of Queensland, its just that it didnt click with many people so it wasnt publically persued.

Check it out, its all true, and it was done by stealth, which if asked, I can tell that story too.
