In 2007-2008 I felt led to prepare for what ws coming. I bought extra food, fixed what was broken on the camper and house, got more fuel and a generator, and began working on being able to defend it all. I worried about Yellowstone. I worried about the Sun going crazy. I worried about the Marxist in the Whitehouse doing exactly what he has been doing for the last 3 years. Worry, worry, worry.

Then about 2010, a peace came over me. I can't prepare enough for what is coming and there is a point where you just have to "let go and let God". I could keep stockpiling things and I do keep my preps up, but what is coming is way bigger than I am. Sure, it would be nice to have a mega bunker in the middle of nowhere (which I don't have), but the still small voice of God tells you to rely on Him, not your own strength. Prepping is prudent and wise, but God is the one who has blessed me to be able to prep, and He is the one who will see me through and or take me home to be with him.

We aren't meant to survive when tshtf on guns and stockpiles food alone. We will only make it through with His guidance and protection.

God did not give us a spirit of fear. Great post, as usual.

God opened the prison door for Paul and his friends......and they just walked right out of there.


David as a youth killed the giant with just a small stone......while the warriors of Israel stood back in fear.


God delivered Israel when their back was against the sea......and a great army was fast approaching them.

Faith in God is something which is very pleasing to God.....and should always be in the forefront of our thoughts.


Faith is essentially the opposite of fear and anxiety. When the flesh brings up negative emotions like fear and anxiety.......I try to deal with them quickly rather than let them linger.

I am but a human.....and there is much weakness and evil in the flesh. The Spirit is constantly at war with the flesh.


You might have chaos and martial law all around you.......but God can just walk you right out of there.....without anyone even seeing you......and take care of you in the wilderness.


I pray for this mustard seed of faith when the trouble begins.


"For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock."" (Ps 27: 5)

"You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. (Ps 31: 20)


"The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them." (Ps 34: 7)
