I've wondered if anyone has had a chance to watch it yet. Lots of big names involved in the project, including Charlie Daniels who wrote and sings the theme song. [link to beholdapalehorse.tv] I would love to hear comments from anyone who has had the opportunity to watch it. I can't wait to see it, but it'll have to wait until I get caught up on a few bills. I'm not a big fan of country & western music, but I do like this song. You can listen to a sample of the song here: [link to beholdapalehorse.tv] |

That's a great book. Opened my mind to other possibilities, that is for sure. "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow! What a Ride!" We do not Die, We Awaken to the Dream that We Lived. |

Quoting: Little Bee One of my best friends had the same experience with that book. Hmm, maybe I'll read it. also do read the follow-up, "Illusions: the adventures of a reluctant messiah", by the same author. what changed my life was "Le matin des magiciens" (Morning of the magicians) by Louis Pauwels and Chaques Bergier; that book was fourty years ahead of the times, and is still one of the most complete studies on everything that those in power want to remain hidden. |

Let it sink in and it'll rock you to your core with its anti-consumerism message. A stunning movie. Also Star Wars. It taught me the power of imagination and the belief that there's always something else. Also, Han Solo is the coolest cat in the galaxy. Fact. www.followingthenerd.com |

Jim bob User ID: 13791289 United Kingdom 06/05/2012 04:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When i read this poem written by a young girl in her death bed i shed a tear, its so beautiful. # Have you ever watched kids On a merry-go-round? Or listened to the rain Slapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight? Or gazed at the sun into the fading night? You better slow down. Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last. Do you run through each day On the fly? When you ask How are you? Do you hear the reply? When the day is done Do you lie in your bed With the next hundred chores Running through your head? You'd better slow down Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last. Ever told your child, We'll do it tomorrow? And in your haste, Not see hissorrow? Ever lost touch, Let a good friendship die Cause you never had time To call and say,'Hi' You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last. When you run so fast to get somewhere You miss half the fun of getting there. When you worry and hurry through your day, It is like an unopened gift.... Thrown away. Life is not a race. Do take it slower Hear the music Before the song is over.# I hope this makes you think about life even for a second |
