I think it is the most powerful movie ever made. It covers everything.
Everybody needs to find their OWN "red soil of Tara."
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1369739 and the song "I'm Proud to be an American" too for that matter. We take it for granted now, but when it first came out, it was a very powerful message no one had ever put into words before. Still a very powerful message. It had a profound effect on me and my family, and still moves us to tears to hear it. Perhaps now moreso than ever, as the country crumbles and the song gets banned.
