IS GOD UNFAIR?

This needs repeated.

I would not BE his enemy if he did not FORCE me to be..

I want to serve him because I WANT to..with NO STRINGS ATTACHED..isnt that how unconditional love works?

But He puts all sorts of strings on his "LOVE"..strings..that if not followed to the letter..result in satanic merciless evil sadistic evil torture forever and ever..for NO other reason than being FORCED.

If you love God only to avoid his blackmail..you DONT LOVE HIM.

What in heavens name are you talking about. I serve him and love him with NO STRINGS attatched. I LOVE him because HE FIRST LOVED ME and gave up having his son beside him for 33 years and had to watch him suffer and die.

There Are No Strings - Just SINCERETY and HUMILITY in admitting you're a sinner and have spoken wrongly about him.

He Keeps on giving when you come to him. Heck, he even gives us a new desire to do what's right and love others and when we fall and sin or go back to old sinful habits - he wooos us back and gently disciplines us if needed to get us back to seeking him. Gradually, over time as we feed our minds on his word, it changes us on the inside, making us more like Jesus. That is what happens to people who've become God's children, not the "fake" christians, who haven't been changed by God and are counterfeit.

ALL I want is the FREEDOM..the FREE WILL to choose him or not with NO PENALTY attached should I choose NOT to serve him.

THAT is TRUE FREE WILL.

Being FORCED to choose to love someone because they will torture you without mercy if you dont is NOT FREE WILL..its EVIL BLACK HEARTED COERCION.

Well, you love someone who will burn and torture you if you don't. So 'his' love for you definitely has strings. He only loves you as long as you believe.

That's the very DEFINITION of conditional.

There are strings attached. You are worthy of love only so long as you believe.

If I told my daughter that she was worthy of my love only so long as she believes every single word I tell her, no matter how confusing or contradictory... or I will burn her with a blow torch and keep healing her and doing it again until I can't anymore...

Then I would not be loving, I would be insane. DEMONIC, even.

Only so long as you believe, you are 'loved'. If you have doubts, you become instantly unworthy of love and are to be tortured and burned by your "loving" god.

You surely must advocate for parents to treat their children in this manner, right? Because your god is the absolute purest representation of love.

You naturally tell your own children that they are worthy of love only so long as they believe you in absolutely everything without doubting ever... or you will burn them with a blowtorch... and by the way, there are NO strings attached to your love for them...

Right??

Today...I kinda feel like He is a bit unfair.

Today I lost a friend. Our 14 daughters have been besties for years. Thru our kids, we became good friends.

Today she died from liver failure. She never drank or used drugs. She was an amazing Mom and wife. She was beautiful inside and out! She Loved Jesus.

The Drs could never figure out the cause of the liver disease...it just was.

I too am a Christian. My Faith is not shaken by today's tragedy, but my heart is so heavy and I can't help but wonder why He had to take Julie....

And there's something very WRONG with the person who can say they love and serve a person who says, "love me and believe in me (even though I intentionally confuse you and make my words contradictory), or I will torture you."

Better yet, to slavishly grovel at the feet of a being who intends to burn and torture billions of people for ETERNITY is also mentally unstable.

That alone disqualifies 'god' as worthy of love.

Everyone hates all of these petty despots that killed thousands or millions, but 'god' is going to not only kill and torture billions, but he's going to do it FOREVER...

And we should LOVE him!

How can you grovel at the feet of a person who's torturing your loved ones in a fire forever and ever? Or who has murdered billions of people?

It doesn't make sense. We love to LOATHE any human who would do such a an unspeakably heinous act. Even if the person were to say "but they did it to THEMSELVES, all I asked was that they believe me!"

When 'god' does it, though, it becomes "good" without any individual virtue. It's mass genocide but it's "good" and "just" even though it's totally out of anything approaching proportion to the 'crime' of not believing a 'god' who openly admits to PURPOSEFULLY CONFUSING PEOPLE.

FREEDOM FROM GOD = EVIL

God = Light

No God = No light, but you get the opposite, DARKNESS

DEFINITION OF LOVE/GOODNESS = GOD

NOT LOVING GOD = LOVING EVIL

Read Psalms chapter 2 - It talks about people who WANT FREEDOM FROM GOD - THEY THINK THEIR WAY IS BETTER.

Once you've read it, tell me what God does in response.

Most christians I have ever known ONLY bow to god because of the THREAT of eternal torture..NOT because they actually and truly LOVE him.

They are in TERROR of him..so they BOW>.grovelling..always in FEAR..but LOVE??..they DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS..because the God they GROVEL to DOES NOT KNOW WHAT it is EITHER.

Like I said..again..if someone loves god because he will torture them forever if they dont love him..then they dont love god at all..they are only trying to save their own ass.

That's not why I love him, but If I didn't love him and rejected his way of ridding the world of Evil, then I'd be choosing evil and would deserve to be in an evil place.

Look, God is one entity you simply don't have to seek. As Aries, only an opposite relative abstraction in Taurus can touch him. You can only mathematically extrapolate him. Seeking him is then pointless. As Sagittarius he is simply circumstance, which you can't get rid of, even when you are dead. As Scorpio, he is that which either creates or kills you via circumstance. You have to fight to avoid him. Jesus was just a missionary from back in the day, probably a nice enough fellow, but no more a god than John Lennon, who pretty much could do everything Jesus could do.

PATIENCE - GOD WILL RID THE WORLD OF EVIL AND SET UP A NEW EARTH JUST LIKE EDEN -

God is Patient, not willing that any of his children perish, he's waiting for them to come to him.

Oooooh.... so someday he'll bother to answer prayers. Someday he'll bother to clean up the evil.

Because he's waiting for everyone to love him for wanting to murder everyone... and everyone is supposed to love him even though he created evil and can't be bothered to stop it...



God's going to throw anyone into hell who doesn't believe, even though god is the one who controls who does and doesn't believe... and god can't be bothered to stop the evil, even though he's the only one who CAN stop it... because, uh...

Because he actually wants everyone to love him except for the ones he purposely keeps the 'truth' from so that they can't love him because they might get saved from the fire bath.

To answer the original question, He can be anything he wants to be, though he does prefer to be fair. When 1/3 of the population challenge you to your own game, you sortof wing it.

At one point I'm pretty sure it was 1 vs nearly all, and still didn't lose so *shrug*.

True, I've had bad stuff happen and people close to me hurt me, but I don't have any Idea what others have been thru like Sandy or you. And I don't want to go thru it, but I never said it was painless.

None of this equates to "separation from God".

If you check the previous verse, it's talking about being far off from "the commonwealth of Israel", not from God.

Before we come to God thru his son Jesus, we are "strangers" and "foreigners" to God and to believers(saints). We aren't part of his "household" yet.

Ephesians 2:17-19

And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by on Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God.

Our creator GOD is the most loving ,caring father you could ask for. Why you think he has sympathy for the wicked.Because he has LOVE for all his children.
