We say that God is all-wise, all-knowing, and all-powerful, and then turn around and deny it. We say that God "so loved the world" and that Jesus is "the Saviour of the world" and then turn around and say that only a few will be saved while God sends the vast majority to suffer the excruciating pains of fire and brimstone for all eternity without His feeling any concern for their suffering - without mercy! >>

You say...that :"we have false ideas and representations of the true God." Yet you deny the very instruction HE gave to us. His word says that there is a way, and HIS SON JESUS made the way and is the way the truth and the life no man comes to the FATHER but by HIM. HE came into this world because HE so loved the world. He has shown us the way yet since the time of JESUS (and before) people still chose their own way.
Here is what HE SAYS and HIS love is evident in all of it.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Proverbs 28:26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
Ezekiel 33:13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
We can trust in HIM and believe HIS instruction, or we can trust false idols and false ideas that incline our own and/or another persons opinion. Yet in the end...none of us can say that we didn't have HIS instruction.
Every person has a choice.
