This is my impression of Islam in the Middle East. I have never been a racist person, I grew up in NYC. A Salad Bowl of nationalities. I am starting to have a fear of Muslims and what the future holds for Western Civilization. Is this what true Islam is all about.? Is this the future for the Muslim's that reside in western society.? If so then we have a problem. Now I am still not a racist but I do not like what I am seeing with the religion of Islam and that reflects my impression of Muslims as a whole.

I have to ask, how can anyone follow a religion that allows this type of behavior to happen.? Are there any Muslims here on GLP that can answer that question for me.? Enlighten me, what am I missing here.?

I am totally opposed to any US military intervention in Syria. What Assad is doing there is no different then what strongmen have done for all of human history. It is terrible, it is vile, it is murder and slaughter, but the US should know by now we cannot simply go it, kill the "bad guy" and think things will get better.

It never works out that way. Most these places are 3rd world hellholes and each time one bad guy is removed another one or another dozen take their place. Just stay out and let them kill each other. Sure we can send them some guns and ammo to speed up the process, at least that way if they kill enough of each other, the ones that are left might figure out the model doesnt work.
