I am too nice and never say no to people. Most of these people seem really nice and I want to help them, but it always gets out of hand. I always end up becoming their slave bitch. it makes money, but I dont care for money. I do not need money. It makes me depressed and I am in so deep in some cases that these people rely on me.
I need to take control of my life. but I don't want to make people feel bad.
any advice? it seems similar to what you're saying. I am making others the victim, and feel i need to help them.

It is about not letting people take advantage of you. Imagine what you can do, what anyone could do, if people stopped letting people take advantage of things! It is not healthy to either party to continue the pattern after it is known that they are 'using' you. There is a helping hand out of true need, and there is someone taking advantage of a helping hand because they know they can. The latter is a self-defeating construct. It can never be sustained as it ends up feeding off itself. Do not let people make you feel bad for not giving help! Giving help when it is truly needed is one of the most beautiful, incredible, awe-inspiring gifts we can feel. Don't let others take that feeling away from you, or taint that gift with selfishness. Nice ~ and how do you get rid of guilt? Is there a quick way to eliminate this emotion? Cuz that one sucks~
