Some of the people here have it half right. Sprinkle Boriac Acid (its in a powder form) all over your carpet. But DON'T VAC it up every day! Leave it for one week THEN VAC it up really good. The way B.A. works is it scratches the flea shell as they travel across the carpet and they dehydrate and die.

All the powder is kind of messy and some of it can it airborne but its the best way to kill the damn things.

Also, treat you dogs for fleas on a regular basis. Mine usually get fleas from the vet. I hate taking them there.
