hyperinflation should have occurred from that point onwards but it hasnt. we have had the lowest rates of inflation since 1957. see chart below.

what we are witnessing is the trough building phase of an economic cycle which closely correllates with sunspot cycles. solar cycle #24 should peak may 2013 and this should correlate with a stock market bottom around that time.
