Telepathy 101 (Much easier than many would have you believe)
How to be telepathic:

Always remember that we are essentially all the same. You and I and most everyone else on this planet are damn near identical. The many variations in physical appearance, personality quirks, and level of evolution only serve to make interaction with each other more varied and interesting.

Remember this at all times. This is the key. We are the same. When you look at someone else, put yourself in their shoes. I'm not talking about some half-assed bullshit here, I mean REALLY do it. Put your mind IN their head. Feel yourself adopt their mannerisms right down to their eye movements and facial twitches. Imagine you are them. You'll know when you're doing it right, trust me.

You'll quickly become very sensitive to others' emotional states. As you continue to practice and become more adept and observant, you'll start to "intuit" concepts and thoughts as they move through the subject's mind.

IMPORTANT: Do not simply imagine that you know what someone else is thinking, this will short-circuit your progress. Try to just shut your own mental monologue down and "feel" yourself in their place.

Some people seem to have more natural talent at this than others. Introverted people seem to find it easier than extroverts. I think this is something like the idea that you can't open your ears unless you shut your mouth first.

That takes more talent and far more practice, but it's possible. When you are dealing with purely astral/mental/subjective experiences it's much more difficult to separate the true from the false, especially for beginners.

The above mentioned method does work, try it with any old stranger on the bus.

I'm very successful at knowing what other people are thinking but less successful placing my thoughts in their minds. I have incredible intuition and I have just recently within the last couple of years realized this. It's very weird sometimes.

Telepathy is hard.I don't hear words exactly more like images representing the words, all at once in no discernible order.
I then have to figure out what it means{seems to happen almost instantly}its then that my emotions take over and blur the response{i seem to respond automatically but cant stop thinking about the response and so wreck its clarity}

As i said its hard do you experience the same confusion when trying to respond to query's ?
pushing this ability causes me to lose short term memory,is there an easier way?

Can I add this? Thinking about how our universe works helps.
Once I started thinking about how brainwaves work and how they exist even with barriers like time space and matter, I noticed it was much easier to do. Once you actually truly believe that its possible then you can do other things like plant thoughts in others minds and even know what their actions are before hand.

One thing though make sure you are damn well ready at what you find out because you "can't" turn it off, and being able to see the true face of others can be very painful. Things like knowing your best friend is trying to fuck your girlfriend and that your family truly doesn't care about you.

I find that its not so much that you are losing your short term memory as it is that it gets much harder to focus on your own thoughts when you are in a room with others around.
Acid helps it really does and so do mushrooms however, what you see can scar you for life. Also make sure that you never tell others about it, most wont take too kindly to the fact that you can peer into their heads and you will get their true opinion of you.

But if you use drugs how do you discern a real event from a fictitious event inspired by said drugs?

I don't take drugs except for the occasional splif and my hourly coffee i find you need to feel good or balanced before trying to practise any aspect of the mind.
Drugs however impair your ability's, all of them...yes your imagination sky-rockets but your imagination is only a tool of learning, not doing...it expands your perception but not your ability to perceive.

Try your ability's when you feel sober {I practise just after supper when the full and don't wana move feeling kicks in..ie contentment..it seems easer then as my mind is quieter}

What I am getting is that you want people to bust their boundaries to be telepathic, to be the other and the self. No

It's just like talking to someone in the same room, you don't go stand by them and touch them to communicate. You stay in one place and they stay in another.

There is no such thing as far away. Telepathy to someone across the world is as easy or hard as across town depending on your skill.

K?

I have another opinion as well and that is that you are not talking about telepathy your talking about busting boundaries, I could be wrong. You could be just joking I guess. Or I am wrong but I am sharing my opinion on telepathy.

i didn't mean distance to imply you can't read at it i simply stated it's easer to hear your OWN thoughts away from noise and distracting people.
and i only posted this advice to keep the thread active on{my threads} 6 days since a reply and they disappear at 7...lol

Im looking for advice on how to stop thinking about several different things at once and to help me concentrate on one thingh at a time,i find this difficult

Re: Telepathy 101 (Much easier than many would have you believe)
You know when I was a kid I remember what felt like entering people minds at time. It was a very odd but peaceful feeling, but I could never escape the feeling of how it was wrong or I was intruding. So I stopped doing that along with a lot of what I was taught as a child.

I'm uncertain if that's what I was doing as it was so long ago and I was a child, with a child's imagination. But it did offer a very unique perspective. I want to try and recapture it, but I have a lot on my plate at the moment, a little to much. But if I can recall the process I'll try to add to this.

Until then, here's a nice site that fleshes it out a little further.

Telepathy With Animals
Anyone who has owned a pet cat or dog is sure that their animal has picked up
their thoughts from time to time. Your emotional intention is what animals pick up,
and they can pick it up even stronger when you look at them. When you are sad or
depressed, many pets will try to console you in your time of emotional need.
Conversely, you intuitively know when your pet is unhappy or sad as well. In
animals, emotions are clearer and more basic than human thought processes.
Honesty is natural with animals, so non-verbal communication between them is easy.
Dishonesty is a man-made trait and comes with muddled thinking and fractional brain
use. Animals use 100% of their brain and have no need of deception.

Nevertheless, the brain wave output of all animals lies in the same general ELF
(extremely low frequency) range as in humans. Perhaps this is why they can often
home in on their masters from great distances. There are numerous accounts of lost
or deserted pets traveling across the country to reunite with their owners.
In one experiment, researchers had volunteers bring their dogs to a laboratory.
When the dogs' owners were "attacked" in a different room with surprise ice cubes
down the neck, instruments recorded distinct physiological changes in the dogs.
As an exercise in communicating with your pet dog or cat, start with something
that is familiar to it. First, preface your telepathy with a lot of love and affection
physically. Emotions are already a universal language, and positive feelings lay the
telepathic groundwork for a better rapport. Now clear your mind of all inner
thoughts and issue mentally the visualization of your pet's food in his bowl or the
sounds of opening the can or any accompanying sensory data associated with the
feeding process. Imagine your pet eating the food while you emanate love and
affection toward him.

At first, you might enhance the effect by looking into your pet's eyes, for there is
a communicative energy transmitted by your eyes (see "Exercise -- Eye Contact For
Inner Communication"). Later, even distant telepathic messages will provide little
problem as long as you remember to transmit with emotion and feeling. Visualize
commands of "come," "sit" or "lie down" while seeing the animal doing the desired
action. Pulse your command with rhythm like in "Exercise -- Audio Telepathy."
Transmit simultaneously with 2 or more people and study the effect.
Don't forget to learn what your animal is projecting to you as well. Clear your
mind and let it run idle while you look at your pet. Impressions will begin to form.
Experiment by projecting your mental body into your pet's mind (review "Exercise --

Mental Projection") and experience what your pet is feeling. Even attaching a small
crystal to your pet's collar can assist in amplifying your telepathic intention toward
your pet as well as keep it healthy.
