Rand Paul probably knew his dad was not going to get a fair deal at the polls and wants to save his political career.

Webster Tarpley was right. Ron Paul was nothing more than a rodeo clown.

Sitting at a bar arguing about republicans and democrats is beyond futile and this is why. if you can't beat em' than join em'. Folks it all comes down to the bloodlines and pushers who put these people in office, NOT the people. Rand Paul has sold out; now if Ron Paul negates this than we can truly say he stands for freedom "BUT", I highly doubt that and must now agree with my father that he is no different than the elite scum that rules "US" people.

From within and from without.

My mother, God rest her soul, absolutely refused to vote, and hadn't voted since the 70's. I used to scoff at the idea...but I now understand why.

Ron Paul will / would NEVER endorse Romney.
If you really understood Ron Paul you would realize that.
He gives NO GROUND.
(...which is also why he failed to be nominated.)

You have to be palatable to most Americans.
RP's Foreign Policy was not.
If he had moderated that a bit....he would have been a contender.

Just like here, they like electing used car salesmen.

Sparkling smiles, nice suit and an arsenal of sweet rhetoric.

I am not an American citizen but I would like to make this comment as someone who is looking not at the trees but at the whole landscape.

Ron Paul took many dollars of support from the American people who truly believed in Liberty and the constitution and now has backed out of the race. He has deceived many and is a hypocrite.

Everyone now can see the truth, it is all planned and prepped. It is the exact same way here in Canada. I have been awake for many years and watched all the craziness that goes on in our Country.

We may as well not vote for anyone because it don't matter who gets in office all the same policies and taxes are put into place.

At times I think we are living in a comic book.

Ron Paul just called it quits — sort of.

In an e-mail to supporters, Mr. Paul said he would no longer actively campaign in states that have not yet held Republican presidential primaries. To do so, he said, “would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have.”

But Mr. Paul made no mention of Mitt Romney, and he did not say he would spend time helping defeat President Obama. Instead, he vowed to continue pursuing a “delegate strategy” that would provide his movement influence at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., this summer.

“I hope all supporters of liberty will remain deeply involved — become delegates, win office and take leadership positions,” he wrote. “I will be right there with you. In the coming days, my campaign leadership will lay out to you our delegate strategy and what you can do to help, so please stay tuned.”

Mr. Paul’s campaign has been engineering minor coups at Republican party conventions in several states. His supporters have captured additional delegate spots and have ousted some supporters of Mr. Romney in key state party leadership posts.

In the letter to supporters, Mr. Paul said that the effort would continue because the presidential campaign had been “part of a quest I began 40 years ago.”

“Our campaign will continue to work in the state convention process,” he said in the e-mail. “We will continue to take leadership positions, win delegates and carry a strong message to the Republican National Convention that liberty is the way of the future.”

What other candidate ever quit campaigning. Read between the lines. Read the last paragraph. We will take leadership positions, no mention of being president.
