Heli is already a name in Hebrew.
If it was translated from Jacob
into Greek meaning ascension,
then it was a poor choice of
translation since there is already
a term with the same proper name.

You don't need the Apocryphal texts.
Just ask yourself why the bible (New Testament ) was written in Greek? Hmmmmm?

they are of the bible and explain alot of the bible that isnt explained or is explained in very little detail.
for example in the lifes of Adam and Eve it explains the origin of Satan, God covenent between Adam and Eve, and even fortells the coming of Christ!
