Rand Paul endorses Romney

Rand Paul is a joke.

And NOT to be trusted.

By endorsing Romney, he kills it.

So, he trades away the entire electorate initiative for a bowl of cold stew... because he wont even BENNEFIT from this endorsement, all while he loses ALL credibility with the force behind the liberty movement.

He fucked it all up.

If you're right that they can't win, then this makes sense. Cut a deal and ensure that no third person steps in and "steals" the nomination.

Why can't he win? I thought he could win if it gets past the first ballot, and delegates aren't even bound on the first ballot according to a federal court decision iirc. So I would like to be a fly on the wall and know the details of the strategic calculation.

Let's not assume he's stupid. Though I don't know what he got for it, I would assume he got something. A lot. Bigtime.

i saw romney on with leno or jimmy about a month ago and when he was talking about how the world is a dangerous place and we should be increasing military instead of decreasing and pulling out, i thought of one thing.

Yes, the unmentionable one make me ill at this point. And he has always interrupted Tarpley right when he's getting ready to make an important point.

After all the donations, I agree with you. The Paul campaign could have made a major issue of the blatant vote fraud that occurred all over the place. Even the first, Iowa, Paul was expected to win, then the plug was pulled. Time and again and no specific legal action to make the public aware that it was not sour grapes but real fraud.

And the 9/11 issue still bothers me. I know RP didn't want to go there and be ridiculed because of it, but he has been ridiculed for years already. And he could have easily, in a neutral way, by stating that he had been contacted by say, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, and other respectable organizations, to form a bi-partisan group to hold hearings. He could have done this at a distance, doing as Arpaio has done by "blaming" it on legitimate requests from citizens, qualified citizens, to begin an investigation. But he steered clear of it.

The adversary is more sophisticated in their methods than most of us are willing to give credit for. And setting RP up as controlled opposition is not beyond their capabilities.

Rand Paul is a turncoat

I wonder if Rand Paul saw the hated coming from all the people who supported his father. This movement has been about ideals , truth , integrity . That is what ignited the passion from Dr. Paul's supporters.

He has a right to choose who he wants but, we won't forget.

There will not be any support of Mitt Romney, surely they must have seen that.

In the back of my mind I keep feeling like this is a test, it is only a test and Rand Paul was the sacrificial lamb. If that is the case then we will welcome him back as a hero. If, on the other hand, he sold out to the establishment, than he is Judas.

No this is Rand, being a younger and more attractive all around candidate, courting acceptance from the mainstream republicans. This is all the endorsement is about.

It sucks that Romney and Obama work for the same people, same policies, the destruction of the United States, etc. Ultimately Romney will make you sheep feel much better about losing our country.

Might have voted for Romney if RON Paul was on the ticket . Rand Paul will never get my vote. The 2 are not the same. Romney is done.

Rand is now looking like a typical two-faced politician. Dislikes Romney for months then turns around and endorses him.... and he wants people to believe his word?
