There are 'schools of thought' that teach the practise of sacred sex and abstaining from orgasm. Chaste if you like. The energy supposedly travels up the spine to the crown - rather than the energy being 'expelled' from the body. That's my basic understanding. Therefore the two practicing in this way are considered virgins - pure.
