How to make your own natural shampoos/conditioners and soap!
The Secret To Healthy Hair
For a base shampoo that you can use you need:
4 oz. of castle soap any scent that is available
About half an ounce of rosemary
About half an ounce of lavender
About half an ounce of sage
About half an ounce of nettles
2000 mg of what is known as Organic sulphur or MSM
An empty plastic bottle of around 8 ounces
Put all the herbs in a jar which has a lid. In the mean time take around 2 cups of distilled water and bring it to a boil. Add around 3 heaped tablespoons of the mixture of herbs into the boiling water. Let it rest for around half an hour or more. Add the organic sulphur to this mixture, after it has cooled down. When the orgnaic sulphur has melted, which should be around 30 to 40 minutes later, use a strainer and strain the herb mixture. Put this into a bowl and add around two to two and a half cups of herb tea that has been strained. Add this into the plastic bottle. The 4 ounce of castle soap needs to be added into this bottle as well. Put the cap on and shake well. And Voila your shampoo is ready to be used.
Here are some oil and herb combinations that you can used based on creating a shampoo that begins with 4oz of castile soap for placement in an 8oz bottle.
• Dandruff Control: 1/2oz Tea Tree oil and 2 1/2oz strained Chamomile Tea.
• Extra Shine: 2 1/2 oz strained Lemongrass Tea and 1/2oz Rosemary oil.
• Control Oily Hair: 1/2oz Lavender oil and 2 1/2oz strained Sage tea.
• Thicken Hair: 1oz Rosemary oil and 1/2oz strained Nettles.

1 tablespoon jojoba oil
10 drops vitamin E oil
To make:
1. In the top of a double boiler, gently warm the rose water.
2. Once rose water is warm, add jojoba oil.
3. Pour the mixture in a blender and add the vitamin E. Blend at high speed for 2 minutes.
To use:
1. Wet hair with warm water.
2. Pour the conditioner onto your hair and scalp, massaging in thoroughly.
3. For damaged hair or extra conditioning, leave on for several minutes, perhaps while bathing.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Useful Ingredients
There are many different ways to make a homemade eye cream. These are all beneficial ingredients which can be integrated into a natural cream.

It is possible to wash clothes to, although you would have to be careful about the amount of soap used, else you could end up with Bubble Town in your kitchen! lol

Re: How to make your own natural shampoos/conditioners and soap!
awesome post OP. I have for years made my own soap from scratch, all vege oil based.

now days I only use baking soda and vinegar for my hair care. Works brilliantly. But I used to make solid shampoos.

...Yeah it is amazing the amount of nasty stuff in some products these day; and further more how much our body absorbs the chemicals via the skin and pours...

Your hair makes its own "shampoo", don't pollute it with dirty chemicals. Not using shampoo has made my hair manageable.

So has anyone been using this home made soap for a while? How were the results?
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

The Bible could say more than it does BUT
The Bible doesn't say more than it says.
The Bible says what it means and means what it says.

I just made the first recipe minus the sulfate (I didn't want it nor did I have any around). I have tested it, and I liked it. I didn't use nettle either, and used lavender oil instead of using dried herb of lavender.

Ok, so just wanted to update again. My scalp has improved! I don't even have a spec of dandruff that I originally had. My scalp also doesn't feel like it's burning. I also use the shampoo as body soap, and my skin feels soft.

The drawback is that the shampoo isn't as "smooth" and "bubbly" like in-store shampoo. It feels a little chalky, but to me, it's worth that. I am assuming adding the sulphur helps with that, which I didn't add.

I also have changed up my hand soap for the kitchen to be diluted castile soap, reusing foam soap dispensers.

So glad I finally made the switch!

Thanks for the update. Hurray for your success! BTW, if you want thicker, faster growing hair and nails, look into Diatomaceous Earth... DE. It is good for many health conditions as well - but I love how it makes my hair grow.
