We're in such deep trouble I am numb.

Putin has so much to deal with at this moment in history I'm thinking he is wanting to be undistracted for the time being. Also psyops are stirring up division in so many countries specifically to weaken them.
I'm giving him the benefit of knowing what he's doing in this climate for the sake of expediency.

The us. is a whole different animal.

Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.

So Putin is doing great things for his country and people but feels the need to increase fines for protesters by 150 times!!! That shows he needs to intimidate people to keep them "happy".

Protestors in Russia are much better off tahn in Canada:

Fines up to $125,000

On Friday, the Quebec government passed Bill 78, which comes with heavy financial penalties for violations.

The law:

Suspends winter semesters at schools where students have boycotted classes.
Stipulates penalties for groups who try to block access to schools, and even for organizations that don't induce their members not to.
Requires any public protest of more than 50 people to alert police at least eight hours ahead of time, with the event's start time, route and date. Groups that violate the law face fines of up to $125,000.

The City of Montreal passed its own measures on Friday, making it illegal to wear a mask, scarf or hood during a public protests.

so STFU, sheeple.

One positive thing in all of this. He has a sliding scale for fines. Brilliant for the regular people.

Notice here in the states one fine fits all, that means the Millionaires can piss on laws because it's no biggie to right out that check but for the rest of the poor bastards it means their gonna have problems filling their gas tanks to pay the same fine.

Yes exactly.

Nobody said any of this was right. I was attempting to be objective as to why Putin has chosen this route at this time. International relations are in turmoil.
We can't afford to have narrow thinking.

The u.s. just takes away all of our rights without trial or reason or limits on how long you might have any chance of being free ever again.
Right out from under us.

At least Putin is honest about what his intentions are.

The u.s. is even more frightening and doubt they molest childr3en at airports. They are not poisoning their air land and water and genociding the population like the u.s. is.

Get real about this.

Re: Vladimir Putin intends to fine protesters A YEAR'S SALARY
Yes i know, Chernobyl. It's all over europe. They bothered to evacuate, contain it, and not continue building reactors in the face of admitted deformities and damage.

The u.s. admits nothing and learns from nothing and are not interested in protecting the public. It's the exact opposite and everyone knows it.

Does that make me a "commie" or does that mean I'm trying to remain objective.

Soros et.al. undoubtedly fund most of the "Protesters" in both Western nations and Russia. I doubt they control as much of the media in Russia as they do in the West.
In his book, "Between Two Ages," Brzezinski wrote: "The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values."

No he's not, he is liberating Russia and the region around it from the Zionists. And he has every responsibility and right to do so. They are assisting Syria in expelling the Zionists who have been tearing apart that place, and trying to get American support to go in there and claim syria for Zion too.

Keep in mind, they are not fining people for protesting, they're fining protestors for breaking the law, i.e. attacking police officers, assembling outside of protest areas, etc.

The fine is steep, but shouldn't be a problem if protestors follow the rules their organizers agree to.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11145700
