Youngsters Why does your Generation think Tattoos, piercings, fake tits, ect.. is acceptable in our society?

I don't want to offend any of you youngsters, however your culture is Trash..Tattoos and piercings make you look like Trash, electronic music makes you sound plain retarded, and Fake Tits/cosmetics make you look Fake! How can you fools be so ignorant to support such mindless and detrimental behavior?? TPTB has already warped your brains beyond repair just as they have planned..I hope you guys learn to enjoy the true pleasures in life i really do, but nothing will change unless you cowards own up to your misguided and sheepish ways!

I absolutely love tattoos when they make sense, have a deep meaning and are an actual artistic representation of whatever you want to engrave in your body.

But if you're talking about these kids that make stupid standard tattoos all over their bodies, like flowers and mexican skulls and ridiculous shit just too look "scene" worthy and stuff, that is pretty much what I despise from my peers and makes definitely not feel part of the same generation.

I've had piercings, eyebrow and lip, got bored of it. Fake tits? Unless you're a pornstar or your physical appearance brings you so down mentally that you can not cope everyday living with the size of your breasts then I'm 100% for it, I knew this girl that felt super insecure, had a boob job done and made wonders to her confidence but what I mean by boob job I mean like, adding just a tiny bit, not going for pornstar size, that's is fucking horrendous and it feels shit as well.

OP, I think that "acceptable in society" is exactly what these tattoos and piercings are saying they are not. That's the point. Many of these are gang and prison markings. It's a mob thing. Or, many express the pain of growing up in the society in which they were raised. There are a lot of damaged people. Ever watch "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo"? And, most are rebellious. They don't WANT to look straight and normal (and corporate). For some it is traditional and tribal. And, for many, it's a fun thing, decorative. It only gets grotesque when it is extreme and becomes self-mutilation. That's my take on it, and I am a Boomer. And, I have a tattoo.

They will live with their dysfunctional parents as MANY OF THEM ARE DOING NOW till the parents die. TV has given them a false sense of confidence and a phony worldview that will not hold up to reality, they think they know more than their parents but most of them have never had to pay bills. The Chinese are buying up the USA and competition for good jobs is insanely intense, when these kids try to get employment, they will get booted out and bested by clean cut Indian, Arab, etc youth, American youth will be relegated to the lowest class CAST system . What these kids do not realize is that this punkish / rap trend started in the UK where kids can get public paid housing and food, unlike the USA where you need to pay rent or your out on your axx.
There is no problem expressing yourself in wild clothes, hair styles (btw; kids today are merely ripping off earlier generations trends such as RAPPING ( 1970's), Punk (1970-80's), Goth (1920's)) they just need to ask themselves a question, how will I look at 40 with THUG LIFE tattooed across my forehead and who will hire me ?
