Hard won money, spent on a frivolous item.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6773840

Probably in your country. In mine it is pocket money.
 Quoting: Sandrose

oh your pocket money is hard won. Did you put your labor into it, or who else did if a gift? somebody made it hard won. I had to google this piece of jewelry to understand what it is. [link to www.amazon.com]

I found this as a description on yahoo answers. The pentagram is symbolic of the 5 elements; Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. It is also representative of humans, with 5 major components; head, arms, legs.

The interweaving represents the interweaving of those elements to make the whole interconnected.[/i ] [link to answers.yahoo.com]

I assume your cross is otherwise the christian cross which is not a true cross. it is unbalanced. If your cross in the jewelry has 4 equal arms, than by all means enjoy it.

No, your blueletter bible reference is for a noun, not a name. A femine one at that. The name means Lord. Why utter such rubbish dealing with God???

READ THE HEBREW.

I AM THAT I AM.

Ahayah = Aleph-Heh-Yod-Heh - AHYH.. Hayah = To BE.

Lord = Yod-Heh-Vav/Waw-Heh = YHVH/YHWH... HOVAH = Destruction, Wickedness, Calamity, Destruction.

Try again.

Wow I wished I had that one.

Reminds me of Lords of the rings.

Nevermind, my wedding ring does not fit me anymore, thus I never wear it.

My wedding ring is red gold. I did not want to have it obvious and my husband has nearly the same.

He would have never accepted to wear such a ring LOL

Another symbol for the phallus is the cross. The cross predates Christianity by many centuries. The cross was only adopted as a symbol of Christianity as late as the 9th Century. The early Christians did not use it and in fact the original symbol of Christianity was of a shepherd bearing a sheep on his shoulders.

The cross is an ancient symbol and its original meaning is always phallic and representative of a solar-sexual nature. When the cross is combined with a circle, it is no different to the Lingam Yoni of the orient. The cross being the phallus and the circle the yoni.

Congrats on your sex symbology purchase...

Partially. My husband is allowing my own belief as "part time fun" as long as I don't take any step contrary to the catholic faith or would put in question the catholic education of the children. He probably does not know that this pentagram is used by wizards and witches, just laugh at my stones and consumption of candles and esoteric books (on this end I ask him to count his marathon shoes and the topic is closed).

When he asks about it, I say you'd better not want to know. When he asks which and what for I use which stone and which symbol, I give him to most vague answer.

Controls always start at home, most people don't care what clergy thinks of.

He always think that meditation is some kind of heresy and if I did not take the practice on meditating while he is at work, he had always the good feeling to pop up unannounced at the deepest moment although in other cases he would watch TV till the end.

Candace,

My husband money is my money. What I earn(ed) is as well being used for the family. It is the same account.
For the sake of the household money, there is a small amount of money (like 50USD) each month that I allow myself without having to answer for. When my business was running better it was of course more but currently I cannot take money out of the business for private use, i am happy if I will earn enough to have a balanced sheet at the end of the year.

This is what I call "pocket money". Some would buy cigarettes, other play lottery, it is money you do not look at a second time.

As for the rest of the money, if this is not spent on the household or the children, this is always for justified expenses. In our first years I used to write a book about expenses but now it is pretty much always the same.

What I don't know of is being spent by my husband or taken by him into a savings account. I find it a balanced way of handling the finances and we are living pretty well out of it.

We would not have all what we have as a family if there wasn't discipline. Growing up with both parents as well as half of the family as banker and being married to somebody attached to banking, it feels like natural.

Sometimes I said I might have been the only child who had been taken interest rates on pocket money and if I had not ended up in what I am doing now, you would find me in a bank.

Does help when the whole family talks during gatherings on how their clients mess with their money.

It is the cross of unity used throughout the entire creation. Has not one thing to do with belief systems and culture custom on this world. It represents those who have come into balance within the creation. It was given to me to use for the 2nd Coming organization AH as part of our logo/emblem, by Michael of Nebadon. All suns by the way, as a look into the sky have it and can be seen when gazing at our own sun.

Gotcha. I was raised Catholic. I haven't been Catholic for years now. When I began exploring Paganism, I don't really recall having to deal with too much opposition from family. Any opposition I encountered was short lived once I started explaining my reasons.

I have never had a spouse though that wasn't okay with it. My last boyfriend thought it was kind of crazy, and would interrupt often while I was meditating. I think it just scared him.

I have noticed though that sometimes we can outgrow people. That's the only way I know how to describe it. Sometimes our spiritual paths take us different directions than the people we are with. We have to be true to ourselves and they have to respect our path and our decisions.

just attach a string in the middle with a tiny apple on it and they will shut up...all religious icons are measuring devices without the marks and plum-bobs hanging from them...the crescent shape has 5 spots like the 5 points of the star of the star and crescent to hang a plum-bob from it and get readings from the night time sky of latitude and longitude....the different crosses and tridents are no different...hf

How unfortunate for some rulers when men, women, and children continue to think... Keep repeating the lies loud enough and long enough and just maybe the people will start to believe the lies again and good luck with that...finding your energy open until mars becomes raging aries...

It's a very hard decision to take, especially when one has a family. I have the full backing of my family if I want to come back home, they will help me restart and find a new job. From that point an I will be free to complete my new spiritual path.
