They didn't launch it AT Israel, it was launched from western Russia to Kazakhstan.

I don't know if the so called 'shield' is active over that area, I believe no country being part of the shield was in the trajectory.

In any case, the 'shield' isn't fully operational yet, not even close.

If the russians launch an ICBM toward Israel, that is a very serious provactive act. Israel could have responded with nuclear armed aircraft flying toward Moscow. Europe and Israel are saying, where was your 3 billion dollar Aegis ship? Do you think a Nuclear armed Israel will let Russia test out ICBM over Israel? Would Germany allow that? How about the US test over Russia?

There want be a next test, without a response from Israel. Say bye bye Moscow.

Why would Putin do that now? Just days before Russia says it will use a first strike if the missile shield goes active. The US just announced last week part of the shield was active with Aegis coverage. Do you not read the news? Putin just left China forming a alliance. Putin is serious.

The big deal, as 9/11 proved, assuming a missle heading toward you is a dummy warhead can be fatal. You only shoot missles at other countries if you are seeking provaction or a surprise attack.

Russia is not stupid or dishonourable. They will stay with the nations that gave them 80% aide during both world wars. Russia also gave USA intelligence during ww2 on Japan from it's previous wars with them. Russia's biggest deal is World War 2, and how they can glorify it. They won't turn to the Mongolians. Putin says this, and says that. Their goal is to stabalize a proper trade route and oil route. And they know an unstable Iran with psycopath leaders, can never be this stable source. Russia also knows, that China, a giant hungry bully, would never share anykind of resources unless they are getting a 50-80 kind of deal. It's in Russia's best interest to not only quietly support the West, but to attain the aspect that they are pro-peace and stay out of this deal completley. Trust me, I served in Afghanistan in the 70's, I know how my country deals with certain things. Imagine, we had the chance to show the world USA's involvement in Afghanistan, with evidence that would make American's look like Criminals. But we didn't, why? Because Kruschev was gone and discrediting our brother in ww2 would shame a helot.

People need to relax, and realize the Cold War is over, and not everything is a conspiracy about Russia trying to strike at USA. Now it is about China. We don't like China, never have. Not even during the USSR. It is common knowledge to Chinese neighbors that they are hogs, always reaching for everyone's pockets at the expense of human rights. Even the USSR was nice, religion was not persecuted as people say, and human rights were a big deal, because in the Motherland everything is about brotherhood, not ignorant racism, or blind profits. China is the opposite. China is everyone for himself, or one for nothing. They are criminals, and are the Babylon spoken of in the Christian Bible.

Funny I was in China for a year and they spoke highly of Russia, very grateful for saving them from Japan. They were not even aware of US was ever at war with Japan. In Chinese history Russia defeated Japan.

Only a fool shoots ICBM's at everyone. US should had shot it down, been a lot cheaper than nuclear war.

Don't bet on that. Russia and China have already stated that a virus being directed at them is an act of war, and that is why they have the cyber-security proposal on the table at the UN. Russia probably has more black projects also that can demolish us here in the states, I don't want to find out though. The US cannot do a damn thing about the ICBM, and the officials are being very careful with this foreign policy matter...as they should or we are likely to have our ass handed to us.

who ever set their missles into the air and targets another counrty has about 30 to 45 minute before the return volley will hit.
