Thoughts on Rand Paul endorsing Romney?

Wonder how much money he has taken from lobbyists .

I saw 30 pieces of silver fall out of Rand's pocket at the end of the interview....

What do you people have against universal health care? Does it make you happy that some people are dying because they can't afford health care?

I can't afford health care but I don't think that I should be able to take other peoples hard earned money to pay for it. - That is called stealing...

I can't afford dental work - should you have to pay for it? I can't afford mental health - should you have to pay for it? - I can't afford a house - should you have to pay for it? - a car, nope, can't afford that either - I'll just take your money.. Cellphone? - too expensive for me, I will just make you pay for it instead...

I could go on and on but the point is - when you take away the reward for working (i.e taking all your hard earned money and giving to someone else because you are forced to through taxes) then there is no incentive for anyone to work..

And yeah, it would make me feel all warm and fuzzy to help other people in their time of need - It shouldn't be forced upon me... Charity and morality cannot be legislated.

Honestly I am not sure as what to think because Rand seems like a good guy.
Rand and Ron are different people and Rand is still relatively new on the political scene and no one is perfect.
I hope he does not completely drink the koolaid tho and stays strong on most of his small gov views.

All that said I still will back Ron Paul until all the cards are on the table. His 30+ years of incorruptible, nearly perfect voting record and outspoken libertarian views earns my trust that he will do what he believes is right till the end.

Rand Paul just endorsed the status quo. Romney supports socialized healthcare, wants more war, likes the NDAA, likes the Patriot Act, has no problem raising your taxes, loves the TSA, thinks having 30,000 drones spying on Americans is great, is indifferent toward the federal reserve, supported TARP and his biggest backers are Wall Street banks. Rand Paul has no integrity and quickly sold out his supporters when it became politically convenient to do so. Rand is worse than your run of the mill politician. At least we already know the average politician is a shitbag. Rand betrayed the trust of every single Paul supporter just for a chance at being Romney's VP. Rand has no principles and is the modern day Benedict Arnold. Fuck Rand.

Jones always knee caps the Liberty candidate on there last lap. Always.

And he will accuse the Liberty candidate of selling out as soon as TPTB are forced to start making deals on our terms.

Amazing, You people know that all politicians are liars. Yet, you all believe there is one or two politicians are not.

It appears that he & Ron Paul 'took a dive' & that saddens me greatly, but Liberty is not one man's battle or one family's property.

The lesson is that we the people demand principles, not politics.

Truth & integrity are not easy options & some people haven't got the inner compass that is so necessary in times like these.

The political system that is so corrupt & contemptuous of Liberty & the People, will never save us & never could even if we all wanted it to.

We must start acting with the integrity & courage that we all wish Ron & Rand were.

That means acting, speaking, resisting, disobeying in order to further Liberty & oppose our common enemy.

This means stop cooperating financially & otherwise with a tyrannical system at war with us & our families.

The time to sit & watch on the sidelines as these players play politics is OVER.

Don't be down heartened!

Things are going to get very hard, very soon & we need courage & integrity to stay true against such a devious opponent.

I don't wish to sound self righteous, because I dared to believe Ron Paul wished to lead the movement, & I now think his actions & those of Rand show us that they don't, or don't believe in the People enough to side with them at times such as these.
