Re: Report: Obama Believes The Most Important Issue of Second Term Is “Climate Change”…
President Obama is quoted in a New Yorker column by hooked-in journalist Ryan Lizza as believing the most important issue to address in his second term would be climate change

Obama has an ambitious second-term agenda, which, at least in broad ways, his campaign is beginning to highlight. The President has said that the most important policy he could address in his second term is climate change (italics mine), one of the few issues that he thinks could fundamentally improve the world decades from now. He also is concerned with containing nuclear proliferation.”

Yes: climate change that THEY are causing with that damned HAARP toy of theirs. If they STOP heating the ionosphere and stop altering the weather, all will return back to normal.

Generally, I don't take American Stinker's claims for granted – especially not in before elections; I don’t believe Obama actually said that climate changes are “the most important issue”. Nevertheless…

The Climate Changes are a statistically proven, empirically fact – regardless if they are man-made or not. You can keep on believing that the records tornadoes, draughts, floods and heat waves are caused by the HAARP or any other magic devices – yet climatologists predicted these effects decades ago.

So many of you are buying into most preposterous doom prophecies based on numerology, vague interpretations of Biblical verses, “prophetic dreams” and mysticism while refusing to believe in the doom that is slowly unfolding in front of your very eyes.

A vast majority of paranoid theories and doomsday prophecies are distraction from the real issues, hidden in a plain sight.

No tard. Supposed "climatologists" (is that even a real fucking science???) predicted global warming. Then changed their story to 'climate change' in the last few years. Also predicted "global cooling" in the 70's, so they change their mind, or Al Gore and MSM media digs up supposed scientists to 'yes men' whatever bullshit they come with to jam more global taxes down peoples throat.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15526347

Yes ignorant, climatology is a real science: [link to en.wikipedia.org]

No, climatologists actually predicted climate changes without giving them specific name; MSM picked up a fancy “Global Warming” name – which doesn’t reflect the real issue. Scientists didn’t change their mind – climate changes actually happen. Besides, science is not a religion but seeking for the empirical truth as is - even if that would mean that scientists would have to change their views.

I’m NOT sure about the cause of climate changes, but I deem plausible that we – or better corporations - are actually fucking up our environment.

LOL find me anyone with a degree in "climatology" more than a few years ago. Made up "discipline" in the recent "global warming" hysteria.

Umm, no, until the last couple of years, you will find plenty of times Al Gore, the MSM and the "scientists" they dug up call it Global Warming. Now "climate change" is the new term used because they realized no one was really buying "global warming".

LOL ohhhh scary, Climate Change. What other menace should we be scared of? Weather Change? Changes in the momentum of objects moving through space? Population Change? Economic Change? Demographic Change? Chronological Change?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15526347

Well, keep on being scared of Elenin, Planet X, Zombies, Mermaids, New Madrid super EQ, Chinese invasion - instead of being concerned about climate, economic and demographic changes. The former are for real and the latter of course not - probably because they are too mundane.

BTW: [link to en.wikipedia.org]

"Early climate researchers include Edmund Halley, who published a map of the trade winds in 1686 after a voyage to the southern hemisphere. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) first mapped the course of the Gulf Stream for use in sending mail from the United States to Europe.." etc.

Yes I believe there are natural climate changes. I think the oceans are getting warmer because volcanos are more active.
Yes, it would be silly to think man does not have some impact concidering oil spills and such.
And GMO's suck. When all of our bees die because of mutated a bee virus it's going to be pretty damn funny watching people with little brushes pollenating fruits and veggies... but a the bright side there would be thousands of jobs

"Climate change" is nothing more than a trojan horse called Communism.

Using climate change as the excuse to pass all kinds of government regulation, "Green" regulation and "Health Care" are the two primary ways we're changing from a democracy to totalitarian state. Yes, I think it will be that bad.

Green is the new Red.

Just a few years ago the government and their paid climatologists were saying that we were going to slip into an ice age. There was just as much panic back then as there is now.

So which doom are we really facing, the ice age, or a tropical paradise?

Is your solution to Cap & Tax?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17811310

What???? Can you support you claim that "few years ago... climatologists were saying that we were going to slip into an ice age" with a trustworthy source, please???

Maybe some dissenting scientist had that idea but it was never a common notion - at least not few years ago.

No, additional taxes are definitely NOT my choice; instead of taxpayers, I'd rather grab corporations for their balls.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17772998

There is no climate doom... the world balances out. The hurricanes and tornadoes have always happened. There is just more people and houses in the way now. We also have more news outlets, and media sources to report bad weather.

This kind of climate panic happens in every century and decade. The same thing always happens... Nothing.

From time to time weather patterns change. It is hotter for a few years and then it is cooler for a few years.

There have been hot times and cold times in the Billion years of history on the earth, even before mankind was ever here.

The earth was a lot hotter during the time of the dinosaurs. From plant life, rain forests, marshlands, the whole earth was thriving with an abundance of life.

What we see today is nothing more than a bunch of corrupt politicians getting together with their paid experts, so they can tax everyone for the air they breathe.

The politicians & the corporations are thick as thieves on this whole climate change issue. Look up CCX (Chicago Climate Exchange), this is how they plan to tax the hell out of everyone, and pass the bill onto the American people. Look at Barack Obama's ties to GE & BP. BP had the oil spill in the Gulf, and Obama let them spray Corexit and all kinds of nasty chemicals into the Gulf of mexico. Hundreds of pelicans, fish, sea turtles, and dolphins died because of what these evil people done by poisoning the water. Look at GE. Obama and the CEO of GE are best buddies. GE paid no taxes. On top of that, GE designed the reactors that melted down in Japan.

These corrupt criminal politicians need to stay away from the environment. Every time they do something to help the environment... they end up making everything worse than it already is.

Nature resists humankind because humankind resists nature.

The PHYSICS of what man-made climate change propaganda spewers want us to believe is simply unworkable.

Any Physics professor who examines their models comes away shaking their head. It's absurd.

As for climate change predicting ANYTHING that's absolute bullshit.

In the 70's and 80's they predicted a massive ice age by this time. Then they predicted massive global warming (but it's cooling now...hasn't increased in temp for a decade).

Basically everything they've said is refutable. Only idiots believe this.

As for humans effecting climate:

Please examine the energy (in joules) that strikes the planet every day in sunlight. The examine the energy (again in joules) that are generated by volcanoes, the ocean, the moon, etc..

Mankind, even though we're really proud of ourselves, contribute something like 0.0001% of that total.

If you're driving 60 MPH down the highway and a moth hits your windshield, how much effect does it have on your car's speed? That's how much effect we have on climate.

That being said, we shouldn't recklessly destroy natural resources, pollute our water sources or mess around with untested mono-sourced foodstuffs.

Having clean water and trash-free neighborhoods promotes health and drives down stress. It's simply a better way to live.

But they don't contribute to climate change.

Whether climate change is real or not is NOT the issue.

The issue is that those working sooooo hard for climate change are using it to take down America through legislation that hands us on a platter to the U.N.

This has NOTHING to do with concern for the planet.

Its a tool to guilt us into submitting to the agenda.

We're being tied up like Gulliver--one climate change string at a time--eventually we won't be able to move at all. We'll have surrendered our freedom totally.

and it is in play.

We have a simultaneuous string of events being done, setting the stage for the carbon taxation system.

It's happening.

And if you have anything of value, like, rich acres of land...

kiss your fee title goodbye.

At their rate of success, they will LITERALLY OWN america in just another 4-8 years... just have to stealth in some legislation chipping away at private ownwership... then simply pass all rights and ordainments of the US governmment as the ultimate authority behind all land ownership in america; THEN institute the 99 year lease system, where the state is the beneficiary.

Then, it becomes like an inheritance, especially if it is a global, or comprehensive lease, where the leaseS on american lands ends at the same time.

Then they can leverage it. To the hilt.

And encumber your land you think you own right from under you.

This can all happen swiftly.

ANd judging by the ferocity and integrity of the american people and its leaders to resisit these types of mandates..

it could happen in 2 years.

Alright, suppose we take this road of a fantasy land where solar panels and windmills are everywhere. The future is a tropical paradise on earth.

We follow Al Gore, and Barack Obama's plans for global warming...

What happens when hell freezes over? What happens when there is an ice age? Solar panels don't work if they are frozen, covered in ice, and there is a gray and black sky everyday. Those windmills won't turn if they are frozen and covered in snow and ice.

Corn ethanol doesn't work in the freezing cold.

Now, suppose this was the plan to cull most of humanity. Tell them all to prepare for the world becoming hotter, when it is about to go into a deep freeze.

What do they mean by "Global Warming" turned to "Climate Change"?

Should we expect the tropical paradise or an ice age?
