It's happening, whether you want to accept it or not. How much humans are contributing is debatable, but it is a FACT that climate change is occurring at a more rapid rate than before, and we are contributing to it to some degree. Why not do our best to at least TRY to slow it down??? Is greed really worth risking our future for?

Re: Report: Obama Believes The Most Important Issue of Second Term Is “Climate Change”…
President Obama is quoted in a New Yorker column by hooked-in journalist Ryan Lizza as believing the most important issue to address in his second term would be climate change

Obama has an ambitious second-term agenda, which, at least in broad ways, his campaign is beginning to highlight. The President has said that the most important policy he could address in his second term is climate change (italics mine), one of the few issues that he thinks could fundamentally improve the world decades from now. He also is concerned with containing nuclear proliferation.”

Hmmm...

Maybe he should try to get elected in Japan.

Re: Report: Obama Believes The Most Important Issue of Second Term Is “Climate Change”…
From Servando gonzalez, author of the book Psychological Warefare and the New World Order.

The secret War Against the American People

Chapter 11, page 244:

"There are several things about the environmental movement, particularly its cornerstone, human-made global warming, which indicate that it has nothing to do with science, but that it is just a psychological warfare operation based on lies, disinformation and propaganda.

The so-called climate-gate, which has been called the biggest scientific scandal of this generation, revealed the inside workings of the global warming PSYOP.

Page 245:

Nevertheless, the world's mainstream media has largely ignored the climate-gate scandal and , despite the growing prolemic, the international climate change summit at Copenhagen went on unmolested, pushing population control policies and world government under the pretext of protecting the environment..."

Page 246: ...analysis shows that environmental legislation hurts small business more that it does big corporations"

" Further proof that the "environmentally correct," "progressive" left is just a tool of the reactionary conspirators is that some harmful forms of environmental pollutions are never mentioned in there complaints. The most important ones among these sources of pollutions are noise, as well as electric and electromagnetic radiation (e.g.,high-voltage lines and cell phone transmissions towers). Much less they mention chem trails (scientifically called "stratospheric aerosol engineering") unless to ridicule the people who show proof of it existence. The reason for this selective blindness is because stopping these types of pollution does not bring any benefit to the energy monopolies, nor helps the conspirators' plans for the creation of a New World Order."

Oh no.

hiding

The last thing Barack Obama and his cult needs to do is focus on the environment.

Look at the BP oil spill from Barack Obama's buddies. This happened on his watch. Hundreds of pelicans, fish, sea turtles, and dolphins are dead because of these fools.

Look at how the GE reactors melted down in Japan.

These corrupt people destroy everything they touch and focus on.

hello carbon credits!

however, a thought occurs.

With 'climate change' being a 'serious' issue, maybe people will look for the source. Maybe they decide that it is oil.

Then, i know this is going to sound crazy, but they decide we need less fossil fuels. We then get a sudden release of 'new' clean energy technologies.

Although, it would be more cynical to tax the shit out of people and keep them in the dark.

Anybody remember Lord Monckton? He worked as Margaret Thatcher's energy adviser and knows his stuff. He sounded the alarm warning us about Obama's intention to sign the "Copenhagen Treaty" which would've ceded U.S. sovereignty to the U.N. giving the U.N. direct control over many aspects of our energy and would've required the direct transfer of U.S. developed technology and money to the third world.

We owe this guy for warning us as the true nature of that "Climate change" treaty.

Here's some of what he had to say on the topic. MUST see to get how nefarious the true agenda is. This is NOT about saving the planet at all.

Re: Report: Obama Believes The Most Important Issue of Second Term Is “Climate Change”…
why is everyone convinced that climate change is occuring enough for a president to consider it a most important issue?

what evidence is there that abnormal climate change is occuring or will occur?

you just gonna accept it at face value? or be convinced by flawed statistics?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17798662

There is tons of evidence, and if you had the slightest interest in the truth you would read the volumes of good scientific data and discussion on this topic.
