All the faces of the cube seemed to be inscribed with very hi-tech looking runes and i got the sense that it was some sort of mechanism.

Quoting: GPIE 18066336 This is the closest description of the luminous inscriptions I saw on the walls of the hall. I didn't know how to describe the shapes, but now that you mention the runes, they were similar. I didn't see the cube, but I'll look for it next time. :)
