One day we will realize there's no difference between mental and physical symbols.
But until then, you can experiment to see which one works best. A mental symbol is easily shared with others, though.
Quoting: Chaol This strikes me, because I have felt this way all along. However, I have been looking for a bridge between the two (mental and physical), perhaps much like a bridge between two worlds? I suppose it all begins by saying those worlds (all of them?), those "things" are all "made up" of the same stuff/matter/shalala? This is how my experience of the "dream" world shifted: By understanding that what happens "there" is no less "real" than what's happening "here". (Of course, here and there are also redefined, depending on where I am.) I'm in for the exercise, btw :) Quoting: * * * Don't you find the bridge every day? Quoting: Chaol Actually, yes, thank you for pointing out where I should clarify. It's not so much a bridge I'm looking for, but a more consistent merger? Where duality becomes unity. Mentally I am quite "strong". The recent years have been about my learning how to translate that into my physical experience. Or how to translate my physical experience more mentally? Now I'm confused. Haha. Quoting: * * * Perhaps to clarify the question can be, "Don't you find the bridge every night?"
