Threads like this just show you the degraded Nature of Americans. Americans do want a dictator. They do want their rights taken away. They are sheep. They dont know the principles their country was founded on.

I've lived in the USA all my life, I'm patriotic and my father served in Vietnam. I pay taxes and obey the law.

Now, lets say when I was growing up I was constantly being bombarded with hate from the Amish in my area over my fathers tattoos. I grow up and buy my own store, having no trouble with anyone along the way.

Then, one day an Amish dude walks in and starts moaning at me about my tats. I ask him to leave, as is my right, simply because I don't want to deal with his group. When he asks why I am refusing him service, I point to the sign behind me that says right to refuse and tell him to get off my property.

Should I now be lynched over it? Should people start screaming to the rafters for me to be deported back to Ireland, since my family came from there in the 1880's?

This is point blank racism. This isn't patriotism as this muslim is an American citizen and has that right.

Look, personally I think it's disgusting. Our service men are the very reason why we have these rights. If anything they have EARNED more respect and entitlement than any of us. I go out of my way to treat soliders with the dignity they deserve and I think they should be treated as Heroes.

My personal feelings have no basis here though, this man broke no laws. When you remove the decade long hate campaign aimed at Muslims this entire thing falls to pieces.

Like I said above, yell and scream about this mans actions all you want, that is our right. Just don't go on and on about sueing him or deporting him or other racist nonsense simply because he invoked one of his.

Actually I'm an expat, so I'm not an Arab, I'm white British. And I think you'll find that when people refer to the Middle East, they are referring to ARABS. Oh, and BTW Kurds, Turks and Persians don't wear turbans either. Plus turkey is classed as Europe - not the ME.

Every business owner should be permitted to be allowed to refuse business to anyone. The free market will decide the punishment. In this case, it will likely cause quite an issue for the station owner.

I thought America was a free country? In which case, they can serve who they damn well please.

Would we still be reacting the same way if the Vet had gone in their and started slinging racial slurs and was then asked to leave?

Was the Vet asked to leave, simply because he was in uniform?

That's freedom, they have the right not to serve someone in their own establishment. Probably won't help business but they can do what they want.

I own property on a river and due to abuse of it (people dumping trash and just plain litter), I posted NO TRESPASSING signs....folks just kept coming
one day I was down there and noticed several folks swimming and approached them and ask "did you not see those signs?"....guy gets all pissed and starts raging about how he is a "vet" and it was his "right" to be there and "what was America coming too"

WTF?...so being a "vet" means the rules or common sense does not apply?

I for one don't have a problem with what the owner did....if the situation was reversed....you would all be clapping and patting the "American" on the back
