ChickenInACan User ID: 17233208 United States 06/13/2012 11:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | who cares if the dudes to "discover" the americas were white, black, red, gray, yellow. fuggit. overall, i dont think thats the point this OP was trying to make. finding out their place of origin geographically is more important because that would discredit precedents that have been set in stone by historians (at least those that write history books for our schools). in the end, and in all likelihood, people of all colors have probably been trans-versing this planet left and right, up and down, for a helluva lot longer than most people think. a lot of societies just get destroyed and their remnants fade into obscurity. they teach you in school that the first instance of civilized society began 9,000 years ago in Sumer, but there are oodles of credible evidence which proves this wrong and that society goes back many dozens, if not hundreds, of thousands of years previous. of course, who knows if carbon dating is correct. to a scientist, the logic may be sound, but ya just never fuckin know since theres no undeniably in-falsifiable evidence that their dates are correct. our society will probably also wither away and die, by the hand of mother earth, space, or ourselves. perhaps people many thousands of years from now, in a society just as advanced as our own, will find what little is left behind and form all sorts of fucked up notions about us themselves. the cycle probably just goes on and on and on, and has been. who's to say?
