If there were Europeans in America that long ago they were long gone before the native Americans started moving southwards..it even talks about the "Ancient ones" in some Indian histories..but they were no longer there when they arrived..they either died of plague or just became too few to survive.
Some native Americans were here when these Europeans ..ie ..giants..existed..but the southern Indians of the desert burned out the last survivors of the giant bearded ones..in a cave.
