Anonymous Coward User ID: 14930530 United States 06/13/2012 08:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Now thats funny!! It doesn't matter that the economy is so bad we can't afford the "big" popcorn. But lets ban the popcorn. OMG.. Do you think they are worried about that in Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, or any other country that doesn't even have food to live on? What a fucked up world! |

Decent people won't be affected by this since they don't order pitchers of soda and tubs of popcorn. |

If I remember correctly he also put out legislation to ban salt on dining tables at restaurants a year or so ago, that obviously failed. For being the Mayor of a city such as NYC, you would like to think he had a better grasp of priorities. |

The miswestern corn farmers will put a hit out for Bloomberg. That will kick off the Corn War that devastates the world when it escalates to include wheat rice and oats. |

Monsanto is not going to like this one bit, I am sure you're onto something now that I think about it. Did someone in Monsanto piss him off? Sodas are made with high fructose corn syrup which is derived from corn and popcorn is also apart of Con Agra foods, which is supplied by monsanto. Im going to google around for Con Agra and Bloomberg to see what I find. Great investigating!!! |

Even a better idea would be to double or triple the price of fast food and reduce the price of organic and natural fruit's, vegetables by 80%. Maybe the public will eat more healthy foods if they could afford them. Control of any substance always leads to overuse..it's human nature for God sakes!! |

Sometimes people need to be saved from themselves, this stuff is crap. All of it. Glad someone finally has the sense to put a stop to it and ban all that crap. The corporations making the shit should be banned too. |

Popcorn (w/salt) actually seems good for me as it tends to clear my bowels nice and clean. I don't see a damn thing wrong with a big 'ole bowl of popcorn from time to time. Nothing at all. But - do not pour on the butter! Seems pretty simple enough. |

wildbutterfly2112 User ID: 8293837 United States 06/13/2012 08:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yeah.. proper popcorn. Not the sugar-saturated microwaved crap that we eat today. Huge difference. I don't like that garbage. Air popped from the kernel...the only way to go. "Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working 24 hours a day, for good or bad. Recommend you stop eating it! If I understand this issue correctly, the topic is popcorn in the Theaters - air popped stuff - not microwave crap. There is nothing saturating the popcorn in a Theater except for the buttery stuff people ask for. Problem? Perhaps... Solution: Quit Asking For The Buttery Stuff. |
