I have had hormone balance problems to begin with, whatever iodine does, it helps BIG time. I know it is the iodine, since I was out of it for a week, and notice how muted my orgasms were without it. Don't really care if you believe me or not. It probably doesn't work with everyone. |

A woman I know claims she never really had an orgasm until after she had been dermally applied Lugol's Iodine for 2 months (Fukushima is why she started, not sex). Anyway, she is still with her husband, and all of the sudden she really started to enjoy sex or so she told me.  Sounds like some fun research to take on. ;-`) Maybe you are on to something here? One of the best forms is Atomidine, original Cayce formula, which i take. Iodine is necessary to consume, kelp is also rich with it. The Japanese eat a lot of seafood and they're generally in better health- increased iodine consumption is likely a part of that. Good for us guys as well as gals. I take a few drops of Atomidine per week and my workouts are better, strength and energy is better... in the ocean of health supplements out there, iodine is near or at the top of the list in terms of providing healthful effects that you can actually FEEL and observe. Great stuff. |

When your thyroid is satisfied and operates normally, body will give a signal not to make the 3-iodotyrosine anymore and it will produce more l-dopamine. It seems that without sufficient iodine, the phenylalanine won't even hydrolyse to tyrosine nor to the dopamine. Anyway More dopamine means more powerful orgasms and motivation and it will downregulate the prolactin production. In males, orgasm causes prolactin surge and this downregulates dopamine. A few drops per week will NOT do the job once iodine deficient. My wife and I are taking 50mg per day which adds up to 20drops of Lugol's Iodine. We are using it now for six weeks no increase in sexual desires noted. But then again, we are both 70. We are actually taking it for general health. |
