Europe: Barroso pushes EU banking union!
Posted this the other day in one of me threads but looking back to it now, i think that this is bigger news than everyone thinks and deserves a thread of its own for a further chat if everyone is interested. For the average European this means that we are one step closer for a further unification and a further loss of rights. Countries will lose even more rights in their economic policy. Countries will even lose the sovereign right of nationalizing a bank of theirs. If a bank is bailed-out with peoples money, the state has every right to have some shares or completely nationalize a bank. This won't be possible to be achieved if this union goes through. UK so far have no intention to be a part of this but other countries seem to be excited with these news. This could be in effect as early as 2013. Am i the only one that finds suspicious that this EU crisis started immediately since the Lisbon Treaty entered into force in 2009?

Barroso pushes EU banking union

All 27 EU countries should submit their big banks to a single cross-border supervisor as part of a banking union to be enacted as soon as next year, the president of the European Commission has urged.
I think now we have conditions to go further that, frankly, we did not have before,” he said. “There is now a much clearer awareness among European member states about the need to go further in terms of integration, especially in the euro area. This is one of the lessons of the crisis.

Totally true that. Barroso is such a tool. But the Eurocrats are starting to move things very fast this year. Fiscal unions, banking unions, eurobonds backed by gold and who knows what else.

Still they cannot circumvent the national parlaments. Which is why euro fails.

And the bureaucrats will be the last ones to realise.

The banksters have never wanted competent politicians being in charge of a currency doomed to fail from its beginning. He is not worth listening to.

Hoping that such things won't go through. They circumvented the Greek and Italian parliament imo. Papademos was vice president of the ECB for 8 years before being installed as a PM and he is a member of the Trilateral Commission since 1998. Italian PM is the same. Wonder who will be next.

Wouldn't have a problem at all with that. I'm just not convinced yet that TPTB will let their European Union experiment of theirs fail so easily. They 've already find a scapegoat in the face of Greece if that happens though. They will punish us accordingly.

Euro was created by City of London banks to fail. Aka cross-currency-derivatives. To prop their own currency and the dollar´s reserve status in a case of this big crisis.

Totally agree. Even spiegel admitted that it was designed to fail with some documents that came to the surface. I just think that they haven't gained all the things that they wanted to be gained with it. Still a lot of things remains to be looted by the banksters.

Re: Europe: Barroso pushes EU banking union!
The plan all along was to set up a common currency that would fail. That way, when the crisis arose, the Eurocrats could say "we need more power or the sky will fall." This is exactly what is going on today. Remember, their modus operandi is problem, reaction, solution. If the Eurocrats had tried to set up a legitimate federal government, banking system, and any other forms of integration from the get go, the countries surely would have rejected such a notion. Through fearmongering, the Eurocrats will triumph over the idiotic masses of Europe who will be all too willing to go along with the plan. It won't be long before english is the only language taught in Europe.

Our day is coming soon in America. The elite are chomping at the bit to roll out the North American Union and give us the amero currency. After hyperinflation wipes out our dollar, that would be an opportune time for the elite to unleash the North American Union and the amero.

Re: Europe: Barroso pushes EU banking union!
I would like to share a prophetical article from telegraph from August 2007 where the author talks about the role of the Fed and the ECB.

In contrast, the EU quite deliberately created the most dangerous credit bubble of all: EMU. And, whereas the mission of the Fed is to avoid a financial crisis, the mission of the ECB is to provoke one

Glad you totally get it mate. That was their plan all along. Starve us a bit to death so they can come then as our divine saviors. So typical their immoral ways and the funniest thing is that most of the times they manage to pull these shit off. When are we going to learn? We need to wake up. TSHTF with the people in power.

Seems that everything goes as planned for the Eurocrats.

Exclusive: Secret EU summit document shows first step to banking union

A classified draft of next week’s EU summit conclusions is the first step on an emerging “roadmap” to a banking union, pooling debt via eurobonds and political union via EU treaty change over the next 10 years.

It's not just Europe, it's the same everywhere, any complaint just leads to more suckhole 'experts' 'supervising' their own cronies.

You are totally true there my friend. Financial sector experts and bankers are on top of these days. They keep getting bailed out, take their bonuses, come back ask for more bail-outs, terrorizing the average taxpayer in the process. I'm starting to afraid that this whole thing will lead to a depression. We already have one here in Greece but i'm afraid that it's going to be a worldwide phenomenon this time. You guys there in Australia seem to be going well at least. It's not going to touch you much as it seems and i'm glad, no need for everyone to suffer.
