One thing that occurred to me:
If there were no clouds over the US -- EXCEPT for a continuous LOOP / U-stream of clouds over the midwest.... wouldn't that cause massive flooding?
Wouldn't that kind of massive flooding look a lot like the 'New America' map or the 'Navy Map'?
