Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1667343 United States 06/15/2012 12:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The last time I asked him to view the collapse of the US / Dollar / Economy, he saw us traveling a great distance and taking a long time to get there... by SEMI TRUCK. That kind of floored me. By Semi Truck... we loaded our stuff into a massive truck and left. But apparently we left before things got really bad because most other people believed the news / government that things were not 'that' bad. We would travel some miles, as part of a group, and sort of caravan. Stopping every so often to 'camp' with the others. In the evenings, we sat huddled around a short wave radio, and listened to what was said. Eventually we got to our destination (in the mountains?) where a man that we do not currently know was watching us approach. He was expecting us. not like we knew him -- but more like... he knew that eventually people would be coming to his area to 'escape'. The other strange thing that came out of all of this was that as we packed up our things and decided to leave -- we considered burning our house down, but decided *not* to, since we still had 'hope' that we could return. |

Not sure! I woudl love more details, but as he says, he sees pictures and all he can do is glean the picture for as much information as possible. And some stuff is out of focus and foggy. My impression so far (if indeed the two episodes are linked) is that there must be more than one thing happening that causes us to leave. And that the 'no vegetables' is something that is already happening due to the drought/no clouds. Transportation still seems to be going on OK.... but maybe that is due to the people being 'asleep' or hypnotized and that is why there is no panic over gas? Of course I am surmising. Great question. I will try to delve for more details! |

I was thinking about the people and their behaviour.. Couldn´t it be, that this comes from kind of a shockstate, they´re in. Like, imagine what the US would look like in the map, in such a scenario. Then he proceeded to tell me about us being in a supermarket produce section ('Hometown' grocery store?) and that people were there, wearing courier-style bags over their shoulders (to put their groceries in) and that carrots were not the only thing that was missing from the shelves -- most produce was gone. And most of that was left on the shelves was spoiling. There were not many people in the store -- There are no clouds in the sky. NONE. Why are there no clouds? The united states is almost completely cloud free - the weather is very strange, not natural -- and that there are clouds going in a thin stream / loop / u-shape over the center of the united states, but everywhere else, NO CLOUDs. When I asked what caused it -- he said he saw a pink laser scroll/scrape across the sky (like a search light, except much broader) and it was 'monitoring' and checking for things but he couldn't help but wonder that if they turned off the laser, the clouds might come back... perhaps it was the pink laser heating up the atmosphere that was keeping the clouds away. This is a pretty good description of the Derecho that just hit the midwest and east coast. "most of that was left on the shelves was spoiling" would be the result of no electricity. "he saw a pink laser scroll/scrape across the sky" This could explain the pink lightning. It is true there were no clouds in the US that day. Just some thoughts. |

Stuck in place The heat burning up the country right now is due in part to a persistent high-pressure system, also called a heat ridge or dome, which parked itself over the mountain West, and has now shifted east into the Midwest and Southeast. The system is stuck in place, Weber said, because of a slowdown of the North Atlantic Oscillation, a climate pattern that pulls weather patterns eastward across the country. This "blocking" of the Atlantic has caused the jet stream, which normally ferries air from west to east across the United States, to buckle and trap heat in the Midwest and Southeast, Weber said. It looks like the epicenter for heat this year will be the state of Missouri and its surroundings, he said. And the heat dome doesn't look likely to completely dislodge itself for the remainder of the summer. Above-average temperatures are expected throughout the central and eastern parts of the country (excluding the northeastern states of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine), Carbin said.
