While in Texas I purchased a book on the geology of the big bend national park. There is a portion of that book describing a massive plate of rock several miles long and wide which is upthrust above the canyon floor. It shows many pretty bands of very colorful rock, it's very nice. However the problem is that on one side of the canyon the color bands from top to bottom are exactly in opposite order of the other side of the canyon.

Meaning a plate of the earths crust several miles long and wide actually up ended and turned completely over at some point.

This is a small example of what can be expected if a massive polar/directional shift rapidly occurs.

eh no, none of that would happen, firstly you would have huge tidal waves combined with possible land mass shifting. the ocean and air currents might also change, secondary effects could be the changing of the electromagnetic current in the earth and a possible pole shift. Thirdly north american toilets might flush backwards whlie south american toilets flushed the way NA's does
