As for the post itself. I still don't understand why Obama needs and WANTS to play WORLD ENFORCER and WORLD SAVER. Hes done more harm then good. He's killed more people over in the middle east then any dictator or renegade government has in the middle east. Mostly civilian non combatant humans!

Why can't Obama just back off? Why does he have any obligation to interfere with another country's political/non political issues? If he sits back and lets the rebels take over the chem weapons plants, the rebels would be doing Obama a favor. I have no doubt Obama would order a air strike on the chem weapons anyways.


Come to think of it. I remember a article back from president Bill Clinton days when he did a arms trade WITH SYRIA. So, we armed them with the means to kill each other, all for a planned excuse to invade by saying " Were here to help, but will be stealing all our shit back".. Wasn't the port of Tartus where Saul/Paul and Luke of the Gospel used to come and go while boating around the region?

I knew Damascus was huge but I just googled and they said the population in that city is 4 million!

How can they possibly evacuate even a fraction of that many? I think that's just an excuse.

just happy to be able to help and put people's minds at east with info I can gather, been doing this middle east thign for like fifteen years now. On a personal note though I know a few guys that are from Damascus, they are no fans of the russians or Assad, say that he's worse than his dad and that his brother is even worse than he is. They tell me that yeah there is sectarian violence but it's mostly being caused by Assad's people and that they are frustrated that no one has come to help them get rid of him and his people, they blame the russians for that. Take that as you want I am just sharing what actual Syrians have told me about the situation there.

I'm not so sure guys... last time Israel bombed Syria over their nuke ambitions, we didn't hear about it for 2 months. Why? That's pretty huge and who says we'll know immediately this time around.
