I no longer drive, I "travel". You cannot be stopped for travelling?
"Personal liberty largely consists of the Right of locomotion -- to go where and when one pleases -- only so far restrained as the Rights of others may make it necessary for the welfare of all other citizens. The Right of the Citizen to travel upon the public highways and to transport his property thereon, by horsedrawn carriage, wagon, or automobile, is not a mere privilege which may be permitted or prohibited at will, but the common Right which he has under his Right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Under this Constitutional guarantee one may, therefore, under normal conditions, travel at his inclination along the public highways or in public places, and while conducting himself in an orderly and decent manner, neither interfering with nor disturbing another's Rights, he will be protected, not only in his person, but in his safe conduct."

II Am.Jur. (1st) Constitutional Law, Sect.329, p.1135

"Personal liberty -- consists of the power of locomotion, of changing situations, of removing one's person to whatever place one's inclination may direct, without imprisonment or restraint unless by due process of law."

Bovier's Law Dictionary, 1914 ed., Black's Law Dictionary, 5th ed.;
Blackstone's Commentary 134; Hare, Constitution__Pg. 777

What does that really mean; "without imprisonment or restraint unless by due process of law"?

You have the right to travel but to travel in an automobile is a privilege...only after you prove you have the necessary skills, knowledge, and financial responsibility to operate the machine can you get a license to travel in a car.

Why do you think they had to make special laws regarding DUI?? The law against DUI, for better or worse, is completely unconstitutional.

god almighty man , how can you be so fucking ignorant about things...

“The right of a citizen to travel upon the public highways and to transport his property thereon in the ordinary course of life and business is a common right which he has under his right to enjoy life and liberty.... It includes the right in so doing to use the ordinary and usual conveyances of the day; and under existing modes of travel includes the right to drive a horse-drawn carriage or wagon thereon, or to operate an automobile thereon for the usual and ordinary purposes of life and business. It is not a mere privilege, like the privilege of moving a house in the street, operating a business stand in the street, or transporting persons or property for hire along the street, which the city may permit or prohibit at will.” --Thompson v. Smith, 154 S.E. 579.

It means they have a get out clause, so they can shuffle the deck and change the rules. So that means Brief above is correct. The law is changed to require you to licence a car, you are required to licence a car. Unless you want to reject all law, including all laws you believe a just and correct, you have to obey the law even if you dont like it. Law isnt somthing you pick an chose. You can pick and chose your representitives and hope/petition them to change the law - thats the whole point of the process.

My buddy and his girl got married by a J.O.P.
At the end of the cerimony they were talking about phones and blablabla.
Friend asked the judge "How did it become that you guys can draw blood on the roadside for D.W.I. evidence?"
Judge said to dude,"When you sign for your licence to drive,You agree to the terms stated"

I was floored by this and figure if I dont have a licence ,the laws dont apply.
Unfortunatly I live in the state with more jails than anywhere else in the world and I have a lifestyle that supports my freedom on all accounts.
But when It comes time to renew my licence...flipoff fuckoff2 bartmoon
