You morons have to understand that. What if another kid got sick due to the filth that the boy was carrying? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18122620 Send him home! Tell his dumbass parents that he cannot return to school unless he is clean. If it happens again, contact the proper authorites. Or, strip him, humiliate him, and get yourself and the school in a shitload of trouble. Wow, not sure how to handle this. |

Try to comprehend the fact that he had already entered and "contaminated" the school. If it were such a crisis I'm sure it would have required a little more intense medical attention that a shower from a school nurse. Jeezus. |
MONSTER User ID: 2122560 United States 06/18/2012 01:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | if the school suspected the parents of negligence they should have called child services, they had no right to give the boy a bath because he smelled badly. I bet some of those Teachers smell pretty bad at the end of the day KINGDOMS, NATIONS AND KINGS HAVE BEEN BROUGHT DOWN TO THEIR KNEES WITH ONE GLANCE FROM A WOMAN. I WEAR MY SKIN OF ARMOR SO NO ONE CAN GET IN AND NO ONE CAN GET OUT. HOW CAN I MOURN YOU, WHEN I HAVE NEVER LET YOU GO, monster 1991-2008 RIP |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1477165 United States 06/18/2012 01:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Absolutely sickening! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1477165 That 8 year old is tramatized no matter what anyone else says. Being made to strip and told they are spraying you with something that "WILL KILL YOU' WTF??? I have a 7 and 9 year old and let me tell you if anyone dared to do this it would NOT be pretty. My daughter has really long hair and every morning I spray a little water on it to help me brush it and tie pretty ribbons in it. When she was 5 she asked me one day to not do that because the teachers aide said something about her hair being damp in the morning. I marched right down to the school and confronted both the teacher and the aide and made the aide cry, in front of my daughter. Making sure in NO uncertain terms were they to make ANY comments about MY child ever. I also made them both appologize to my child. My daughter knows I have her back. Teachers are starting to think they are god. I cannot even begin to fathom if my child came home and told me such a story. I would be livid. Sueing is NOT ENOUGH! That is outrageous child abuse and should be given no less than jail time. LM@O as the little princess came home and told big momma that a teacher's aide told her not to arrive at school with damp hair and YOU just had to run right over there and tell them all off etc etc etc. can't wait for her to GET IN YOUR FACE SOMEDAY MOM and all due to your bs and you know WHAT ? maybe her damp hair STANK. No, the thing is that first it is damp hair they complain about then it is something else. Her mom did the right thing by nipping the whole thing in the bud so they didn't mess with her daughter again. These are completely different situations. Commenting about a child's damp hair is hardly worth the drama. What would have been better than showing your ass in front of your daughter would have been to behave with a little bit of class. You could have easily walked in and had a polite, reasonable discussion with the other adults and shown your daughter how disagreements are resolved. Your daughter (and every other child in the world) will have comments made about her, and instead of learning the proper way to handle it, she now will go GHETTO, just like Momma taught her. Lovely, we need a few more trashy people in the world. I actually DID walk in, nice and calm and ask to speak PRIVATELY with the teacher but SHE insisted we all have a chat. So when I said what the problem was, NICELY, and that my child had been that upset by her actions the dumb aide was the one who just blurted out in tears. I was rather shocked and taken aback as it was unprofessional. I never said a bad word, threatened or raised my voice, my daughter was sat in a chair a little bit away from us and barely heard anything except the teacher comming over and saying how sorry she was. Secondly her hair was not wet. Barely even damp. But thank you again for your concern about her health and catching cold ..even tho 4 years on now and we have never 'got a cold' from damp hair. You must not understand the logistics of dealing with really long, curly hair. But other than that I find it odd how you people here are not even addressing the FACT that the teachers TOLD this child they were SPRAYING HIM WITH SOMETHING THAT WOULD KILL HIM! |
whitedove38583 User ID: 12880491 United States 06/18/2012 01:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | this is so sad. and i agree the parents should get money from what the school did. imo - it is not the school nor the goverments right to interfer. They must be some bunch of stuck up rich jerks. the boy probably did not even smell just probably wore some holly shirts or pants and they did not like it. i honestly hate rich people and even stuck up people! they think they are better then everyone else. especially school, the parents should just teach their child at home and then the kid wont have to deal with this. what if jesus came back like that. looking like a hobo, dirty, probably not washed in a day or too. i tell you right now they would probably lock him up for vagerence or something stupid like that. I tell you want a preacher did one time and boy did he ever get the congregation to think the other way. my friend a baptist preacher dressed up in a wig, long hair, put on dirty clothes that had holes in them, made sure he smelt bad then when to church and sat outside the door. every single person in that congregation passed him by, never spoke a word. time came for the minister to preach but he was no where to be found, they tried calling his home, no answer, well about 10 minutes later, they were fixing to call off church then in comes this hobo looking guy, such a pityfull looking feller, he walks up to the pulpit, pulls off his wig and then takes a good look at the congregation. guess what he preached about that day? you got it. helping the poor, sick, dirty looking people with love and compassion. not one person who was a christian or rather thought they were ever said a word to this minister that day before he let them know who he was. remember you can entertain angles unaware! here if someone can embed this please do. very good video! and so true! Quoting: ABYSS. Revelation 9:11 But were so far gone these days, not possible .Everyone is so afraid of eachother, The Elite have won in their dividing, neighbor against neighbor Soon something will be illegal like say Christianity, There will be huge cash rewards for turning in your neighbor and esp if they are stashing or hiding bibles. Dont believe me?, Watch, it will come true. I just bought another New Testament this evening. Between New Testaments and Bibles I must have 10 already! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 6414988 United States 06/18/2012 02:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Even if the child showed up dripping with feces, the school employees had no right to strip him naked scrub him. Quoting: samanthasunflower They should have called social services and/or sent him home. We don't know what the situation is at home. There could be abuse, but there may also be other issues at home. Overworked parents, sickness or death in the family, combined with an 8-year-old boys natural desire to not be clean, can make for a smelly situation. No matter how or why he was smelly, everyone involved needs to be fired. Not acceptable.Usurping parental authority. |

It is an eight year old BOY isn't it? Last time I checked, kids like to get dirty. If he was eight as well, chances are he could be responsible for his own hygiene at that age as well (Being able to bathe himself). |
