Yup! 99% of it is shit. I know there are pople that will say that "old" people always say that about the younger generations music. I can agree with that to a point, but the fact is most of the stuff out there (rap, pop, hip hop) is just shit. Most of them don't write their own lyrics or music. Alot of it is just beats and random noise. They lack band members that have musical talent and the ability to play instruments. Even the singers suck. Either you go to a concert and they have prerecorded, highly processed vocals and just lip sync everything. Or they just sound horrid!  There are a few exceptions of course.....but by and large what is being produced today is UBER GARBAGE. That voice manipulation garbage they ALL have been doing in the last year or two is a PERFECT example of the GARBAGE out there now. It's monkey see.....monkey do now.....all of them sound the same with these stupid monotone of key voices that they think sounds hip. Reality is....it's just those who are devoid of actual talent can now have a chance to sing "professionally" since their true voices are masked. Put them on stage LIVE and they are clearly retarded and talentless.
