Yellowstone area TEC appears to be intensifying. Could an eruption be in the makings?

1km deep.

Here is the TEC for that region;

[link to 63.78.250.32]

I have been watching this site for some time now and have never seen the Yellowstone region looking red like this. Seems to be on the mountain top ranges. Is an eruption pending?

Seismographs are looking pretty weird too;

Harmonics at the Lake;

Harmonics appear to have intensified after the 2.7 quake;

Havent these charts looked like this before? Seems familiar and it ended before with no doom, nothing. Is it different looking this time?

Takes more than one 2.7 to create an eruption, even in te 60's a 7.8 did not caue one. However, I have not seen a good swarm for a while, lets see what transpires!

Well the fact that TEC is red in that region is what has me worried. I have never seen it red in the time I have been watching it. Just made the thread to make folks aware of this.

Hey folks, I'm no expert but I have been watching quakes for a while. Back in August there was an earthquake in Virginia that was later reported as a bomb going off in the underground tunnels. The reason they knew it was an explosion is because it burst onto the seismagraph instead of building up from a small disturbance to a larger quake. Take a look at the Yellowstone graphs and you will see this is a sudden explosion not a build up quake. Could tptb be setting off a chain reaction. Any thoughts on this?

Haarp is cranked up and we know how that always coincides with strange weather and earthquakes. A huge storm is set to hit Fukushima, Japan and now earthquakes are starting up. I'm not sure which is the cause and which is the effect, all I know is that something big will happen within the next few days.

Just to clarify here. I have seen the seismographs like that but not the TEC, this intense, over that region.

Great catch ELQ on the TEC. I think this is concerning also, it may end up being part of a natural pattern, but I am not convinced of that as yet. Definately something to watch. Thanks for the thread!!!

Yellowstone been continuously monitored only since the 1970's. Since then research has found at times that random "spurts" of increased activity do occur. Here is a report on the 2004 increased activity. [link to volcanoes.usgs.gov]

From what I've learned, that if Yellowstone even does erupt, it's not like your Mt. Saint Helens explosive eruption. It's a slower, continuous eruption that consistently grows over years, becoming gradually more powerful, until finally forming a massive volcano. So, it might be local eruptions for a year or two before going super.

It will be devastating none the less, but I think a lot of people have misconceptions about a super eruption.

Your welcome. Ever since seismologist reported this increase in TEC content before a quake I have been keeping my eyes on as many TEC sites as possible. It is a clear indicator. Let's see where it goes, whether up or down.

Um.....I am guessing because Eastern Tennessee is not sitting on top of a super volcano that is over due to erupt, that we know of. scratching

I've seen countless documentaries on Yellowstone as well as much info online and nothing points to a slow eruption. As the eruption becomes more and more certain, the gov't would have us believe that the eruption is not going to be as bad as predicted and that we will have time to "get away." Exactly get away to where?
