you don't need anyone. people are retarded. fuck them. single people are free to do what they want. some man telling you what to do it annoying. you may think hes not telling you what to do, but he is. relationships have annoying obligations. single life has so much freedom.

Also if you really want it. stop worrying about it. it will come to you. distract yourself. learn another language or do yoga or something.

but really think about it... youre going to get involved with some sheeple guy thats going to suck you into the world of sheepleton.

fuck sheeple. most men are sheeple.

don't listen to the predictive programming in movies/TV etc. people DO NOT need a mate/life partner.

stop watching so much TV. I bet you'll feel better about your situation. You then do not have to worry about living up to the expectations of the TV show characters.

Not trying to be mean. just telling you... dating/men/etc... bullshit. Just takes time to see that it is another one of the bullshit illusions we like to point out here on GLP.

Yes there is genuine love. But I think it is a lot more rare than people think. A lot of people are fooled.

don't become a fool.

Like i said if you truely (not predictived programedley) want love. Stop looking. It will come. Sorta like magic. Its not magic though. just psychology.

rant

Re: In my 50's - doomed to be alone?
As an older guy I can tell you that from my perspective, and that of many of the nice men in my age bracket (50's), we have little desire anymore to deal with the issues that women bring to the table.

Life as an older single non dating male is SO MUCH EASIER and NICER than being screamed at, lectured to, being lied to, being treated as merely an ATM machine, or being slept around on, on a regular basis. 90%+ of the women out there in our age bracket, in our virtually universal consensus, fit one or more of those criteria ... and collectively we (me and my friends) have decided that it just isn't worth it at this age to deal with even one of those issues anymore.

Most males who have been through the later in life "divorce wringer" have absolutely NO desire to EVER again stick our toes into that well of acid called "marriage", and little desire to "have a relationship". The little bit of sex and companionship that you, as a male, will receive from a woman isn't worth the hassle and headache anymore.

I know a few men in my age bracket who still date a bit ... but in all honesty those guys are virtually all pussy hounds who just want to jump some bones, NOT create a good long term relationship. (those are the majority of guys you will find on the various dating sites - most of the good guys left the station a few years back)

Life as a non-dating unattached bachelor is good once one is in their 50's. Lots of people to do stuff with. Lots of activities to engage in. Lots of positiveness all around - as long as a male you stay away from dating.

Sorry to sound so cynical ... but most of the decent males in my age bracket ARE cynical. They may not express it openly, but life has taught them that they HAVE to be cynical about women if they are to survive and live a happy life, for what remains of it.
