The FBI director Robert Mueller addressed the situation answering questions specifically regarding the threat of right wing websites with users that have been found to have connections to Homegrown Terrorism that under new laws could lead to the prosecution and detention of US citizens even just participating on internet forums! One report stated that threats against the President were made repeatedly and those responsible constituted a group of individuals, some did not even know they were part of the militia groups. The President has spoken out about this saying that he understands people are upset but charges of Treason and High Treason are too serious to overlook. Homeland security will be conducting new exercises aimed at dealing with these Militia groups.
