Quantum mechanics .. not for me, no tv or computer in my bedroom, a clock is all. |

When it happens, think about what you experienced during the day. Were you upset, did someone offend you? that type of thing. If the shaking disturbs you, simply ask God to keep your bed nice and calm during the night and it will be so. This is just a natural occurance. Walking barefoot also allows the negativity to escape during the day. This will help. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 18918191 United States 07/07/2012 07:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It doesn't happen every night, but on frequent occasions, as I stop moving, find a comfortable position in bed, and everything becomes quiet and still, I will begin to feel vibrations and or shakes on my bed. Quoting: A whole lotta shakin goin on 119873 In the past I assumed it was either my own heart beat or my wife moving her leg, etc... My wife has also had these experiences. Two nights ago, as she and I were falling asleep, she suddeny says, "Do you feel that?" At first I said no, but then right away, as I paid more attention, I could absolutely feel it. Our bed was very, ever so slightly swaying back and forth (headboard to footboard). Our bedroom is upstairs, but I don't know if that makes any difference or not. The only thing we can compare the swaying sensation to is the time we had several large construction-type vehicles (excavators, front loaders, etc) booming no more than 100 yards from our home. The booms from these machines, as they pounded into the ground, shook our house very noticeably. The difference is that we only notice this type of activity when everything is still and quiet and we are in bed. Weird, huh? Maybe it's seismic activity. Maybe "they're" digging tunnels underground somewhere close by. who knows? At least we know we're not crazy. :) Anyone else experience this? From Corpus Christi... My boyfriend woke me up to see if I felt the vibrations that he was feeling. I could feel it more on his side of the bed and as we walked around the house I could feel it too. He said it felt like a 60 hz vibration like something you'd get off of a heavy motor. To me it felt like someone's throat against my feet and they were humming, sort of a pins and needles but with blunt tips. He could feel it outside on the grass and the concrete but I could not. |

Many call it astral vibrations, at first it is a slow heartbeat like pulse, the deeper it goes, the faster it gets. Freaks some people out, they think they are about to have a heart attack when practicing to astral travel. I'm speaking from experience, but you can also Google it for other experiences. Have you received enough light yet? |

Thanks but I don't see how it applies, as we were both wide awake and walking around the house and in the yard. This went on for 20 minutes while we tried to figure out what could be causing the vibrations. |

getmeoutofhere User ID: 12601520 Australia 07/07/2012 05:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have recently met a person who claims that their bedroom vibrates and keeps them awake at night. This person says that they believe that their neighbours downstairs are running machinery. Apparently the landlord has investigated and no machinery was found and the neighbours deny owning any such machinery. Honestly, I was wondering about this person's state of mind. This post has thrown a whole different perspective on things for me. |

He said it is been going on since the earthquake in va last year. Considering there 20 miles or so from the epicenter I thought maybe that had something to do with it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2834366 i feel the same thing for couple of weeks now and it started to happen after an earthquake!! .. it even happen some times when am in my bed using my laptop !! |
Emily User ID: 8393787 United States 05/28/2013 06:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was laying on our sleep number bed (that does have a vibration feature) today and felt it vibrating. It was very little though. I pushed all the remote buttons and it vibrated normally but kept that little vibration when I turned it off. We unplugged the bed to make sure it wasn't a short or something... still vibrated. We could also feel it on the floor and outside. So I laid on the bed and my boyfriend went to the breaker box and turned off all the power but we don't know which switch it was, but one of them made the vibration stop. Then he went back and turned them on one by one so I could tell him when it came back on. IT DIDN'T! And hasn't come back again. My theory is that either something was running and when it stopped without power, it didn't come back on, or it reset something... but it was definitely something to do with electricity. |
