Printing on plastic might not be common knowledge, but it's not like its something thats exotic and uber secret. All you have to do is alter the surface characteristics of the polymer to make its surface amenable to taking ink. Hell, there are off the shelf printers that can do this (inkjet + teslin, inkjet + drafting mylar) and the results look even better than printing on paper. |

True, but polymer notes incorporate other features like transparent sections etc that further complicate this. There are other security features in these notes that were not possible before on paper. |
