Anonymous Coward User ID: 18147564 United States 06/18/2012 05:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "Today in Scientology, many people have certainty that they have lived lives prior to their current one. These are referred to as past lives, not as reincarnation. Past lives is not a dogma in Scientology, but generally Scientologists, during their auditing, experience a past life and then know for themselves that they have lived before. To believe one had a physical or other existence prior to the identity of the current body is not a new concept—but it is an exciting one. It is a fact that unless one begins to handle aberration built up in past lives, he doesn’t progress. In Scientology, one is given the tools to handle upsets and aberrations from past lives that adversely affect the individual in the present, thus freeing one to live a much happier life." |

It's okay. The Brahman, the universe, does this. It gets lost, it gets involved, then eventually sooner or later it finds itself At death one must sincerely recognize his own true nature, death, and liberation is instantaneous. All life, the world we experience is an illusion. The mind of a buddha is recognizing the self. To do that, to recognize the self, all one has to do is look at a flower... It doesn't live by command, it doesn't have a boss, it came into being because it doesn't need to come into being. It does so flawlessly. When it dies, it dies. No hard feelings. ?Really? User ID: 18168058 United States 06/18/2012 05:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I grew up owning a book that was big...bigger than 11x13, and inside of that book was all kinds of facts, and pictures on Egypt. I was fascinated with that book, and somehow it got away from me, and I've never seen it again. I've always wanted to go to Egypt...always wanted to live there, and wanted so badly to become an archeaologist so I could go dig in Egypt...and other places of course, but certainly Egypt first. I'm alot like the way you describe yourself. I've been on this "path" for about 20 years ---of course after spending my childhood wondering about all kinds of things because I also have never fit in with anyone. I knew I had "busy work" to do, and set out to find out what it was. I still don't know in PARTICULAR, although I know that my task while I'm here is to make aware those around me...mostly christians, but also children who feel similar to the way I did. I am here to help others...period. Whatever that entails, is what I feel I'm here to do, and after many years of readings and this and that, I've not been told otherwise. I am a remote viewer. Lately, and by that, I mean within the past 5 years or so, I've had intense memories popping up about Egypt. I can see myself...I can see places that I went often...and there is one place that keeps popping up, but I can't figure out why I feel the sadness, etc. I'm sure it's important, or it wouldn't replay so much...but I haven't spent the time to figure it out really. I'm not much of a meditator. I've had other memories pop up, but don't realize what they are until they've replayed a few times. Just keep "looking". Figure out what your fascination was as a child...and let that be your guide until you find a new lead that takes you away from that. You will....good luck! |

Thanks for sharing, that was an interesting read into you're life - especially the detail. Helping others seems to be my calling as well with a need to finish something important. I used to be artistic, then I wanted to be a cultural anthropologist and travel the world - Egypt was/is definitely a fascination with me. As I've dived more into literature and getting my thoughts onto paper I'm starting to manifest this idea of bringing into reality a Grand Unified Theory from spirituality all the way to quantum science. Something that will eliminate seperation in thought. Still too much in my head though, haha :) I seem to have nightmares while I'm daydreaming. |

Ardhanarishvara User ID: 12662903 United Kingdom 06/18/2012 09:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Eternal return. You can never be anyone other than you - otherwise, it wouldn't be you... and someone has to be you, so you are. The amount of time before you were born is equal to the amount of time you will be dead for.... When you die, you're reborn as yourself, at the same time, date, same parents, same place. You relive exactly the same life, make all your decisions all over again. You've been doing this for all eternity. Your past life is this life. Your next life is this life. You only live once, but you live the same once over and over again for all eternity. xxxxxx :sun:Ardhanarishvara | You died, and death was complete freedom from suffering - bliss. But it very quickly got lonely and repetitive in bliss, so you decided to be born once more. You've been doing this forever. Whilst I may not agree with what you say, I will defend to the death my right to disagree with you. Some say "think outside the box". I say "what fucking box?!" xx:taosmilie: |
