Re: Questions about immortality...
So how exactly do you become immortal?

I have read on here before only eat fresh food...makes sense to a point...but still I'm not convinced.

Our bodies die...we age. You cannot stop that completly...where is the proof for immortality?

Some on here claim to be immortal. I think this is sick thinking.

You are immortal, forever. If you exist now, you will exist again.

The question is if we realize it or not.

Re: Questions about immortality...
I have different classes of immortality.

they are basic descriptions of different types of immortality

like a True Immortal can live forever no matter what even if the physical body is incinerated the body rematerializes because that type of immortal is a universal creature meaning everything that makes up the universe is what that creature borrows its life from, its never ending and only possible with technology.

Then there are Regular Immortals, i dont know if any have ever actually existed but the odds may proof at least one has or is someday, doesnt mean its a religious thing or signifigant to the world just means it was possibly a freak accident. Like change in the dna structures of the cells within the creature affected with this immortality, the structure could allow it to live forever with or without the need for food or water or w/e it needs liquid wise if it needs liquid or solid food/water W/E!!! Being born like this is slim but possible, never been reported if anyone like this has lived though hmm i wonder why lol. Science could easily create this type of person in the coming years if not now.

then there are prolonged mortals, like adam and eve and shit. they still eat and drink to live but they outlive any normal humans. dont know if they ever existed, dna and science are definate factors to these types being real.

Re: Questions about immortality...
Besides immortality isnt good for any creature that has a brain because eventually you will go insane and possibly die of sensory overload because your brain cannot handle that much data being stored within it. Unless you had some sort of device you could take information from your brain and store it within said device. thus solving your problem of insanity and whenever you need to know something you could scan the device and check to see if you had already known that. but then you would have to delete the file/memory from the device and brain and reupload it that way memory within the device and brain wasnt wasted and didnt over flow with the same files that were already inside the device. umm hard to explain it all but i guess immortality is kind of a parodox type of subject allthough completly possible as we have seen with the jelly fish but the jellyfish doesnt have a brain.

yep...like someone said earlier...a memory wipe. I would definitly think that would be needed at some point.

 Quoting: ANHEDONIC

Quite true...and our body DOES this in a cycle of seven years...the cellular turnover (though some organs etc have different turnover rates the overall body is said to be "renewed" every seven.)

My impression about the possibility of an immortal human body is that it did exist at one point but I'm thinking our environment was very different then...different light source (sun)...different water...different air...different gravity fields etc...

So if you took care of it...there was a longer life expectancy of the human body.

I doubt it's possible today though in the current environment we live in.

Once Egos are rid of these gross material object time-space bodies — then materialistic unbelief would have fewer chances than it has.
Who of them knows, or can tell, what may happen when once life-ing cycle of living globe is run down and earth falls into last dream-sleep?
Who is bold enough to say that the divine Egos of our mankind — at least the elect out of the multitudes passing on to other spheres — will not become in their turn the “divine” instructors of a new mankind generated by them on a new globe, called to life-ing and activity by the disembodied “principles” of Earth?

(strange records lie embedded in the “Mystery language-Schools” of the prehistoric ages, the language now called Symbolism.)

Re: Questions about immortality...
immortals, should thank all living brains for this chance

brain dies, chance is lost
if the mission was not finished, it must continue using another "suiting" brain structure (not random selection at all, it must suit the souls progress, many set preferences it must meet - somethinglike databse of trials over long period of time)

the immortal factor in us, is the soul
it dictates the days, interactions with life and tranforms feelings from this into SET experiences, serving as further joints or checkpoints in your language, we all have many in our lives, i counted some 5 - 7 vital points in my life, where the vector of my own curiosity was seen, felt and realized

if the connection with the soul (higher self.. the voice of your highest ideal) is established on a new, much more open channel (get rid of learned beahviour and start to read in yours), it will serve you best
do you understand ? ...how you connect with IT, renders your further possibilities (even promises the complet communion with your soul, living as 1, escaping the cause-effect environment in this sense)

bodies are only adaptation to the inner drive!

oh yeah...right DNA...yeahsure

then dying on the cross...you mean suffering...

so you think you are an immortal from your post...only through reincarnation...I can see where you are coming from but I am not talking about reincarnation...I was talking about actual immortality. I am big on unless you are actually something don't say it lol

and also didn't know there were such guidelines for it...

Only the foolish think they are immortal...

I understand you think it has to do with dna...but I think that's bullshit...sorry. Everyone has a different explantion it seems...

hf
 Quoting: ~Angels~

Yes, DNA Angels.

By dying on the cross, I mean giving up living for you and living to serve humanity with your life.

Yes, I AM immortal and we choose to or not to reincarnate. If I was just a normal old reincarnated Joe, I wouldn't know who I was, my ancestors or have the knowledge I do in such a short amount of time. My ancestors and me had left signs and symbols for us immortals to recognize when we reincarnate to help us on our paths.
Yes, everyone has an opinion, but who has the signs and proof?
 Quoting: KnightsTemplar.TV

From the part I bolded...it would seem to me anyone willing to open themselves up to the universe can do it then ;) Alot of people see the signs all around them...

hf
 Quoting: ~Angels~

Yes, but one avenue of seeing or researching the signs and the other of feeling them in your DNA by knowing your ancestors and who you are are 2 different experiences. One being completely intellectual, and the latter being a physical, intellectual and spiritual journey because it changes your being as you connect with your ancestors. Bottom line, if they aren't your ancestors, it is ALL and ONLY academic which can be seen in just every single historian and or Egyptologist.
 Quoting: KnightsTemplar.TV

well how can you feel what's in your DNA? You just mean feeling it in general?

Re: Questions about immortality...
the reason we lived so long in our golden age was partly because we were unaware of the universe we lived within
it was unknown to us
so
there was no desire to leave our location because to us our universe was our location, hence we were happy to live a long time within it because a choice to leave it was never in our imagination
so
our golden age memory is a good example of being content in your world free of thought of anything outside of what you know and loving all that you do know

know we are knowing what we were always within we have arisen to know eternal, a topic unavailable to us before this era

At that time there was no Sun as we know it today. There was no way to tell day from night. No stars could be seen through the dense atmospheric purple haze and there was no moon from which to tell the passing of time by its phases or from which the Earth’s oceans could be influenced in great tidal movements. Man lived in a perpetual state of dusky darkness. The warm and bountiful purple hue permeated all existence and the nocturnal thrived.

This purple dawn period would have produced an environment of perpetual twilight, with uniform global temperatures producing virtually no wind and there being a complete inability to calculate time. All continents, including Antarctica, would have supported the continual growth of fantastically elongated and splayed reddish vegetation in tropical abundance. Adapted through its red colouring to absorbing Saturn’s radiated energy rather than its light, Earth’s vegetation would have enjoyed a complete absence of seasons and this would have contributed to a densely rich atmosphere able to supprt the flight of giant insects that we know once existed.

From orbit, the Earth would have been cast in a darkish purple hue, and its ocean levels would have been significantly lower leading to larger versions of the existing continents as well as the existence of now lost and submerged continents.

I've copied and pasted this from this link [ [link to www.thefourprecepts.com] because I couldn't be bothered to type it all up from a book:

"The greatest weight -- What, if some day or night a demon were to steal after you into your loneliest loneliness and say to you: 'This Life as you now live it and have lived it, you will have to live once more and innumerable time more; and there will be nothing new in it, but every pain and every joy and every thought and sigh and everthing unutterable small or great in your life will have to return to you, all in the same succession and sequence--even this spider and this moonlight between the trees, and even this moment and I myself.
The eternal hourglass of existence is turned upside down again and again, and you with it, speck of dust!'

Would you not throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse the demon who spoke thus? Or have you once experienced a tremendous moment when you would have answered him: 'You are a god and never have I heard anything more divine.' If this thought gained possession of you, it would change you as you are or perhaps crush you. The question in each and every thing, 'Do you desire this once more and inumberable times more?' would lie upon your actions as the greatest weight. Or how well disposed would you have to become to yourself and to life to crave nothing more fervently than this ultimate eternal confirmation and seal?" (#341) [from The Gay Science, by Friedrich Nietzsche]

i understand immortality to describe staying in the same body for ever
that would mean having a body that adjusted to every environment in our universe.
example:
earth environment within our magnetosphere is different environment to saturn environment within it`s magnetosphere
and
if you stayed within the same body (material shape) for ever , how would you get to saturn to enjoy living there?

if you understand your local environment enough to keep your body forever, everyone else would do the same because they would copy what you do and you would be forced to tell them how to do it , i am sure

our golden age environment indicates we all lived between 700 and 1000 earth years as calculated today so we do have a memory of near immortality

remain eternal is a different function and demands rebirth (not same as reincarnation)

this natural ability removes the difficulty taking a material substance (body) to impossible to reach locations at material speed (light speed) within our universe and satisfies our universes motive that nothing remembers what does not exist hence to become consciously eternal you must know reality so you remember (memory) true

a further advantage of knowing eternal is it allows utilization of faster than light travel in a vehicle designed to mimic our environments abilities
as in:

near instant action/distance whilst remaining conscious (coherent) in a vehicle designed to do it is the same process of "dieing" consciously whilst retaining coherence/memory applies

hey peanut, we will stick with the topic to explain to see how it works

let`s remove the two craft and their occupants from the equation, we are left with the environment they exist within

the environment (universe) both it`s material dimension and non material dimensions, in their structure collectively forms the singular effect labeled by us, "self aware" (intelligent)

the craft referred to as organic is labeled organic because, no matter what materials are used to construct it, it is structured to mimic the singular effect of it`s environment , self aware (intelligent), hence able to utilize the attributes of it`s environment

the occupant whom constructed the craft did so because they first understood the structure and function of our environment hence their craft is steered by the occupant being in intuitive communication with our self aware environment and their craft, simultaneously

the craft responds to both occupant and our environments collective desires within the natural boundaries of the occupants understanding of our environment

Immortality only exists when one has broken free for the need of a container. True freedom is not within a material body.
All material bodies come back to the earth, for some it does take longer than other, this is however not immortality.

Anyway I was getting off the subject but I understand what you mean about them...I am just wondering why all my life I have had such a connection to them? As animals I mean...they get such a bad rap from the bible...which is understandable considering what was written but still this ancient creature does not make me feel evil...

If given the choice I would chose divinity no doubt over immortality...

Compared to divinity immortality seems selfish...

I don't think it can happen now because of where the earth is within our solarsystem and the effects of other celestial bodies around it and the combination of all the effects on rate of decay of the human body.

The stories of the past though show at one point we were under a different sun and had different vibrational frequencies that we lived by. Think how cells of the human body are affected by things like that and then you can start to see how it would impact a life span...

Sure we know a lot about things like schuman resonance and such now but knowing that can't change the fact that we live in a completely different combination of environmental factors now.

Look at how our solarsystem spirals thru the milky way galaxy and it would appear that there would be an infinite amount of combinations we (earth and what ever is on it at any given time) will be exposed to over millenia....so just because right now we're not...doesn't mean we never were or aren't going to be again in the future...

Re: Questions about immortality...
It is a song from Pearl Jam hf
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5771339

lmao smartass...ya know Indonesia...I was gonna post the song but thought I don't want this to be a video thread lol I think I will post the words to the song though...they do fit....after all there is a trapdoor in the sun right? maybe? chuckle

Vacate is the word
Vengeance has no place so near to her
Cannot find the comfort in this world
Artificial tear
Vessel stabbed, next up, volunteers?
Vulnerable
Wisdom can't adhere
A truant finds home
And a wish to hold on
But there's a trapdoor in the Sun

Immortality...

As privileged as a whore
Victims in demand for public show
Swept out through the cracks beneath the door
Holier than Thou, How?
Surrendered, executed anyhow
Scrawl dissolved
Cigar box on the floor
A truant finds home
And a wish to hold onto
He saw the trapdoor in the Sun

Immortality..

I Cannot stop the thought
I'm Running in the dark
Coming up a which way sign
All good truants must decide

Oh, Stripped and sold, mom
Auctioned forearm
And Whiskers in the sink
Truants move on
Cannot stay long
Some die just to live

And there wouldn't necessarily be any less pain in a future life xx

yep...that's the scary part even if you don't remember...I would not want to do this life all over again. I am sorry. Living on this planet is not easy at all.

Re: Questions about immortality...
Think of your physical body as a snake's skin. Eventually you shed it and 'move on'. cool2

 Quoting: ArunaLuna

Hey Luna! :) I like how your thinking. I bet it was possible when the earth was different....but honey if it was possible then...then the possiblilty still stands. I am sure the possiblity is quite low...but still if it happened in the past...we need to be open it can happen now right?

hf
 Quoting: ~Angels~

I don't think it can happen now because of where the earth is within our solarsystem and the effects of other celestial bodies around it and the combination of all the effects on rate of decay of the human body.

The stories of the past though show at one point we were under a different sun and had different vibrational frequencies that we lived by. Think how cells of the human body are affected by things like that and then you can start to see how it would impact a life span...

You will die...it's the circle of life...

Like the Chaldeans as being superstitious “snake worshippers”

Because serpents shed their skin they were associated with the idea of death and resurection, of rebirth and immortality.

Like The Naasean doctrine posited that God was a primordial hermaphrodite, as was Adam.

The sect chose the serpent as a representation of God.

I will prefer to Chose Divinity ..! The Snake show us the Trap of Immortality...! The serpent brought humanity knowledge (gnosis) of good and evil (Genesis 3:1-7), and can further aid man in getting the fruit of eternal life, thus making man like God, or like Christ.

Another Hiss and TRAP from the Snake ..!

I chose Divinity not Immortality..!

AnyWay..!

Hey Yolgnu! Interesting what you wrote about the snakes. All my life I have been facinated with these creatures. They do not scare me quite the opposite they remind me of some other time maybe a past life...I had snakes...

 Quoting: ~Angels~

If you are here Now a this TIME it's to make that CHOICES Angel ...!

it's not IF GIVEN The Choice ...! you have now the CHOICE ..!

And that's the battle here on Earth at this TIME ..!And, as humanity realizes its own divinity, then and only then, will this shit stop.

So, its up to humanity. Do it now, or reset, repeat. Reset, repeat. Reset, Repeat.

Becose They HATE US. We represent a visual image of this deep hate for divinity that we are.

Remember We are the very aspect of creation here that DRAWS in Love, the very bane of their existence.

Anyway.!
