this is summer solstice before 12-21-12 - exactly 6 months! although, besides not knowing what in particular if anything earth shattering is supposed to happen before or at calendar expiration, there is also uncertainty about correlation of gregorian and mayan dates. but, yeah, exactly 6 mos. to big date, so...who knows what and when and who got the memo?
