Heard my name called when waking up | |

My new friend is also in AA, so we have something in common. My mother doesn't drink though. Has anyone had any similar experience? Has anyone been able to meet another who had the exact same experience, not a family member, just a random person? Does anyone know what it means? You stop telling this child such bullshit. Young lady, do not believe in this "spiritualism" bullshit. You may have heard God or it may have been a demonic entity playing with you. Either way, I can guarantee you that there are only two sides here and that is God vs. Demonic. There is no such thing as a "spirit guide" or "teacher" such as these people are discussing. Do not be taken in by their new age crap and put into danger with demonic entities. Many are and they live to regret it. |

You may hear your name being called, a knock at the door, or even faint music. It also can manifest itself from alcohol withdrawals if you have recently become sober that may be your answer. I was going thru some health issues and i was laying down on the couch and talking/praying to mother mary. I sort of dosed off for a second and this female voice very loud spoke my name. This voice was more than an audible sound. It litterally peirced right thru me. Its hard to explain. I knew it was Mother Mary answering me. I instantly had faith once more and came to the realization that all those charactors you read about in the bible are real. That event has changed my life in a positive way.  |

I did felt illusion of some ghost shape hanging on sealing, by a bike, etc. is that true? this is such a weird experience, I feel so uncomfortable and bothered! Ironically this happened in a Sunday night. that makes me feel even worse, am I away from God? |

I was wide awake just doing something mundane...I think I was looking in my closet contemplating what to wear that evening....I heard a womans voice call my name audibly....I thought it was my room mate but when I realized she wasn't even home it freaked me out.
