It must be a non nuclear activity seeing as though the Fukushima nuclear plant is in cold shut down for 9 months.
Or will you give an enenews link?

The Typhoon is now around Tokyo/ West of Tokyo.

It is Powerful but imo. nothing special.

NHK reported that 125.000 People are evacuated
but this are mostly the older People who live
in the Mountain Side and in older Houses!

I don't see a danger for Fukushima Daiichi!

Camera looks Ok at 23.05pm!

Looks like another stronger storm is forming south west of Japan as we speak. A second typhoon most likely will hit Japan again in the coming days;

It must be a non nuclear activity seeing as though the Fukushima nuclear plant is in cold shut down for 9 months.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17500460

and cold shut down means what?

all off no need for any power?

remember once the reaction starts the fuel need to be controlled.
cold shut down means the rods are still reacting and are in a controlled state. they will need cooling for many many years to come. this cooling needs AC. no power no COLD SHUT DOWN.

and sorry Fukushima is not in a safe cold shut down. not even TEPCO has come out and said that.

now this typhoon is not a nuclear event, but has the possiblity to blow up and move around things....all kinds of thing.
like dust...particals...trees.
heck even people and buildings...all depending on the wind speed as it hits.

so this can be bad for all the people in its way. NUKE or not.
if this is still a cat 2 or higher this is not safe to be out and about. look how many people die when strong storms hit and people do not take shelter.

The big issue will be the rain amounts this area will get over the next 5 days.

South Florida will also have to look out for major flooding this weekend also.

It's getting crazy out there folks....stay safe.
