First, in my experience what most people call "the illuminati" are actually the Collective.

I know little about the Illuminati themselves, but what I do know is that christian rule has brought what you state and worse.

Christian rule has not only brought deception and bullshit, but also genocide, rape, torture, infanticide, oppression, literal slavery, psychological torture, and a whole host of other evils.

I dunno, do we really have to choose between the horrors of christian rule, or some deception and bullshit? Cause given the historical facts of christian rule, deception and bullshit actually look good... which is just downright scary.

I really think that may well be true. Having surfed the "stuff" of God, there is nothing on Earth that can make me truly afraid to die.

I too have died. It was no near death experience or ritual initiation but full on flatlined and DEAD for over 10 minutes. It's a miracle of science that I'm not brain dead due to the amount of time spent without oxygen to the brain. I am perfectly healthy now. But yes, what I experienced has shaped my view of reality and it is NOT what people expect. It is far greater than anyone could ever imagine. I chose to come back and I won't lie there are times that I sincerely regret my decision but it was either come back to finish the work I had started or have to start all over. This is why in most mystery religions (even in Christianity) you have to DIE before you can truly live. We have been baptized in our own special way so let us never take it for granted. :)

Also you need to understand that sometimes people do things in the name of an institution that they don't belong to or that they don't represent. For instance there was recently a girl on youtube who said she was christian and was thanking God for all the Japanese that were killed in the tsunami. The video went viral and she later came out and admitted she was an atheist troll to stop the hate coming at her. Now am I supposed to declare that what this girl is doing represents all atheists and claim that Dawkins' book "The God Delusion" teaches this or that kids learn this behavior in Evolutionary theory class or should I read Dawkins' book, take an evolutionary theory class and then decide she was acting on her own and should be judged on her own? Also, should I judge christianity based on her initial video or also perhaps study it first?
