I imagine "sugar sweetened beverages" would possibly include coffee? |

The liberal hell hole that is Cambridge elected politicians that are so much smarter than everyone else that they know what is good for you better than you do. Liberalism is a disease and like a cancer, it has begun to spread from N.Y. to other areas. All restaurants in Cambridge should just close the doors and move to places more amenable to them and let the Nanny Staters running the asylum in Cambridge do their own cooking. Worthless bastards don't like sugar? I have some rock salt for them...... |

No more sugar on your margarita’s? Honey lets drive to another town so I can have a real margarita and the little one can get a pop. Even worse is were talking about a business, someone has everything on the line to make their business succeed, this will directly affect revenues. Portion sizes will be next. I can hear it already “ban buffets!” I’m a very thin person; I already have a hard enough time keeping my weight up, who do they think they are to tell me how to spend my money. They already are regulating portion sizes, though as of now it's "voluntarily" after Michelle O talked to the restaurant association last year. Before going to the drive-in movies on Friday, we took the kids to get McDonalds. Now we RARELY get it so it's a treat, the kids got Happy Meals. When I pulled out their food to give to them I was shocked because now they are no longer doing the "fries OR apples" but instead have both a TINY portion of fries AND apple slices. The fries are now a 100 calorie portion, and the apples are 15 calories, per the bag, so like a 1/6 of an apple. |

New York, Cambridge, who is next? These are the kinds of people who also wrote and voted for Obamacare and insist to this day that it's A-OK for the government to force you to spend your money on a product and service you may not need or even want. These are the same type of people who put a UK style review board in Obamacare to assess whether this or that person will be allowed this or that medical treatment based on nothing more than how long they will remain productive tax paying slaves... um, "members of society". If Obamacare is judged to be constitutional and allowed to remain on the books through the next congress, expect to see this level of Orwellian government on the federal level in short order. Just think for a moment about the idea of Michelle Obama dictating a national menu of what food you will be allowed or not allowed to eat. This is what more than half the voting public voted for in 2008. This is how bad it has gotten. If you were so blind as to vote for that kind of crap last time, please just keep your blind anti-freedom lazy government dependent ass at home. You shouldn't be allowed to vote in the first place. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 [link to line-in-the-sand.blogspot.com] |

Quoting: Laura Bow [link to www2.cambridgema.gov] Well. so much for eating out. Did you all know that restaurants get their main profits from the sales of soda???????? that they get very little profit from the actual food? They take a loss on the food to be able to make huge profit on the sodas. It only costs them a few cents cause the restaurant gets huge jugs of syrup delivered from the soda companies and this allows the restaurant to mix the sodas onsite for a few cents and sell it for 1.00-2.00 a glass This will make many restaurants go under |

Add porn too. kids all over are acessing porn on their smart phones and masturbating in school. But hey, soda is a worse culprit to our psyche and future. Soda is the enemy !
